Re: Problems upgrading to v6.0 Build1

Stephen, Sorry you are having trouble with this. To put your mind at ease, there is an extension to V5.2 here . Hopefully, Build2 will solve your installation issue, due in the next few days. If not, please let us know. If you would like a solution now so that Build1 will install, send me a PM and I...

Re: Cabinets not placing properly

Jason, Sorry, I missed your last post. I am unable to reproduce the Place Mode issue that you are talking about in question 1. Issue 2, I can reproduce, but this is how it worked in Version 5.2 as well. The easiest way to work this that I found was to place the electrical outlet on the wall in eleva...

Re: Problem placing cabinets in plan view

Jason,

I assume that since this was brought back up, that you have found a job at least that will reproduce this error. If so, could you post the exact steps to make it happen from scratch, or at least a simple job that will allow it to happen.

Re: Change Door/Drawer Front option

Sean,

Be careful what you ask for, it might just happen. The Item Window can be full of surprises.

Re: Add new hardware ?

Sean,

Sorry, thought I had answered that one.

Yes, there is an issue. It has to do with USER CREATED.

Thanks for pointing it out. It should be fixed in the next release.

Sean,

Following your steps using your files, all data seems correct. Hole patterns are correct. This is what I get in the Cabinet Buy List:

Re: Add new hardware ?

Dale, Your cabinet loads fine with all hardware being added as expected. Thanks. Sean, Your scenario as well seems good now. I did the following to apply your pattern: 1.) Load std cabinet 2.) Select KD/RTA tab and changed default pattern to your 5mm one 3.) Selected Apply to Cabinet 4.) Constructio...

Re: Line Drawing Editor issues

Josh,

Thanks for the job. This error is fixed for the next release. I was able to take every wall into the LDE and they all came in as expected.

Tony, thanks for showing this to us.

Re: Add new hardware ?

Dale, If possible, it would be great to have a sample just to verify that indeed the problem is resolved in the next build release of the software. Sean, I can reproduce your issues using Build1, but not with the latest developers copy. So everything you mention appears to be working for the next re...

Re: Problem with cost sheet

Derrick, This area of the software has been corrected. The formula, using your numbers, should look more like the following: (( Total Material Cost + Total Labor Cost + Overhead ) X Percent Markup ) + Fixed Markup = Profit NON-Catalog Cabinets Use this for an example: Total Material Cost = 100 Total...

Re: Constraint Manager no zoom

Ben,

I am able to zoom in Constraint manager just fine. To do so, simply hold down the CTRL button then with the left mouse button, draw a square around the area you wish to zoom. Press the HOME key to undo any zoom you have applied.

Hope this helps.

Re: Add new hardware ?

Dale,

Can you post a sample job or cabinet that is causing this.

I think this error may have been resolved already, but I would like your case to verify for sure.

Thanks.

Re: Line Drawing Editor issues

Tony, Seems what is going on is you have used Reverse Build Direction on the wall. You can see this by creating a simple wall, select Wall Options->Reverse Build Direction, place a cabinet on the front side of the wall, then take to LDE. It will come in backwards as you described. So this is an issu...

Re: V6 Cost Sheet Not Diplaying all components

Aaron, I see that you said it is fixed based on Josh's advice, great. I found that there is a problem with the ASSEMBLY cabinet over the sink that is causing the issue. If you take this to the Cabinet Editor, select the cabinet by double clicking the crown molding (high-lite the cabinet green), then...

Re: Line Drawing Editor issues

Tony,

I was curious if you could still post a sample job showing this behavior. I just want to make sure it gets corrected if there is a problem.

Thanks.
