Guys,

I did notice this last build was really solid even in the beta release. Its not often you get lots of fixes with few breaks but it seems to be the case this time around. Now if they can hurry up with V6 so we can test it. :D

Joe,

All the patterns made by Thermwood are 3mm deep. They are basicaly just marker holes. You will need to go thru the pattern and remove whatever holes you deem unnessesary and then highlight the rest and set a new depth (12.5mm?).

Chris, If your in or near a big rich yuppie town then you might want to think about going all green. Raise your prices and hit the homes that are 1 mil and up. Even in down markets these homes are still being built. Go after the homeowner, not the builder. You can buy a list of new home permits that...

Bob, You can change images on material being used in a job. You simply go into the materials and select a new image then update. You will have to close the job and reopen but it will have the new look once opened. Hope this helps a little. Forrest Ps. This will change only the image and nothing else.

Chris,

I also use this card and do not have issues pertaining to it. It is a combi card with openGL capabilities and seems to do well with ecabs. The 512 ram is dedicated so it is fairly powerful.

Thanks Ken, Most of that makes sense including the part where it shares controler, however do you really need more than 3 axis and do you need larger than a 5 HP motor? This could bring the cost down. Can the servo motor on the lathe be made to free spin and index? This would allow to do traditional...

Ken,

I think Mike is asking if you will or can build a stand alone (cnc lathe). Since you do build cnc machines this might be something to look into. I've considered mounting a cheap lathe on our table.

Nano, I've been watching your post on woodweb and am curious as to what MV tech support has said about resolving the problem. Did they get you set up and cut some parts while in your shop? What was the outcome of that? If you were cutting quality parts while they were there maybe you inadvertantly c...

Bob,

Go into settings and choose the material being used in cabinets. Find the image you want to change to and update. Ok out of pref/settings and you should see instant results. This is the fastest method I've found for display purposes only.
