Kerry,
I thought that I tried that first, but I guess not. The Constraint Manager can be a very powerful tool for setting up Seed Cabinets. I am pretty sure this is exactly what Don is trying to do.

Re: Cabinet with PE part resizing problem
Don, The KD's set in the KD/RTA tab of the item window are for changing the KD's that are/will be in use for the cabinet. Until you actually set the Construction Method on the cabinet or part to use KD's, these KD's are not applied or added to the Cabinet Buy List or CNC output. So long story short,...

Tim,
This might make a nice future option for the program. Perhaps more discussion on this might be warranted. For now, I will add this to the wish list for new features.
Anyone else care to comment?

Re: Cabinet with PE part resizing problem
Don, I do not have trouble deleting the shelf pins. The way I did it was to double click the cabinet first, then open the cabinet buy list, at this point, set your qty to 0, and it is gone. As for your resize issue, what is happening is that in order to keep the left and right sides a 6", the c...

Re: Can't get rid of hardware
Sean,
It could be that the parts are being added as part of the assembly as well. Saving the cabinet does not alter the assembly defaults. Just a thought.
As Ketty mentioned, still having problems, post the job and we can see what is what.

Re: Job Hardware in Batch calculation bug
Bryan,
Looks like there is something going on with this job for sure. I am working on making it happen on a std base, but it looks like this is a bug.
Thanks for sharing.

Nick,
Has eCabinets (any previous version) been working well on this machine, or has it never successfully been running to the point design anything?
Let us know, or feel free to call, and we will see what can be done to get you up and using the new Build 3.

Re: Tiered Miter Problems
John, There are many ways to report an issue. Kerry mentioned one, there is also direct email, and of course, posting on this forum. Posting on the forum is the way I prefer, that way other members that might be having a similar issue can help with other solutions or at least confirm the issue you a...

Glenn,
To the best of my knowledge, they will be returned. There was an issue with the installer that was preventing them from being placed into the correct data paths. Once this is resolved, I expect them to be returned to the website for download.

Marvin,
A screen shot of what you are seeing might be helpful as well. Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Chris, In addition to what Kerry has mentioned, you might verify that the email address is correct for your login name. To do so, select User Control Panel near the top of the forum. The only other reason for not getting emails would be your email server is seeing the forum engine as some type of sp...

Don,
If you can find a job that it happens to every time, send it my way and with luck, it will happen to me as well. This way we can find a way to fix it for everyone.

Re: Can't get rid of hardware
Donald, The software will not allow you to delete an item that is associated to the cabinet. To do this, you must delete the association first, and then the part should clear from the Cabinet Buy List. So, to do this, simply go to Hinges on the Item Window. If you know what part the hinge is associa...

Re: Import Batch From Excel
Sean,
There has been much talk in the forum on this topic. There has also been discussion on how to add a customizable sort to the batch.
We will explore the possibility of adding this in the next Major release. Sorry, it will not make the next Build.
