Did it, looked a t the information and changed the virtual settings on my machine. Still only have one hard drive, so I don't know how much this will accomplish. I have just started to put hardware on my cabinet (knobs and pulls) and when I render the final picture it really dogs down on the hardwar...

.

Hey Dan, I went to eCab World to the lounge area and the amount of registration info they want is ridiculous, and I won't give that much info out. Any way you could post the virtual memory tip here?

Ellipses and lighting

Is there a way to draw ellipses in the parts or contour editors or am I destined to use true arcs and pseudo ellipses? Also, when I do my final presentation renditions the lighting is somewhat harsh. If I make it bright enough to see the cabinets well it washes out the floor with blinding white ligh...

They went away for me. I took your cabinet to the partition/shelf editor and deleted the partition. Then I went back to the main editor and they were gone. Then I went back and I added two partitions and and went to the main editor and there were holes for both partitions. Then I went back into the ...

OK, here is what it looks like. Not for anything to build, just to show it can be done. It is set up improperly to show the effect. Usually the spaces in between the flutes are constant and the top and bottoms of the combined flutes is different, top being smaller. What I did is do the usual thing t...

OK, I did it, but I cheated. I put the flutes in the pilaster and then I tapered the entire length of the board using a tool. Then when I went to place it on a cabinet I had to apply some rotation to make the front of the pilaster parallel with the front of the cabinet. Is there another way to do so...

Tapered Flutes

I finally figured out how to make a flute look correct on a pilaster. Now I need to make a tapered flute for a pilaster. This would be using a 1\" corebox bit starting at a depth of .5\" and ending at a depth of .375\" over a length of 62\". Is this even possible? I've tried a fe...

Yes Rick, that's what I had in mind. Too bad I didn't see it in time, ended up going a different way using Forrest's suggestion with the .001\" toekick. This way I had what I call a dust stopper behind my decorative faceframe lower rail. I see how you did it with the -5.75\" FF inset, nice...

Wow - I had some really funky results using the constraint manager. Some of the entries changed the shape of my toekick. After switching back and forth between my cabinet and the one Daniel posted for download I got it to work. The decorative faceframe lower rail resizes properly. Thanks to you too ...

Hey Daniel, Thanks for the work you've provided to me. I looked it over and figured out a few things on your construction. I would like my cabinets to react like this one does. However I was wondering if it can be done with the left and right styles coming down to the floor, the full height of the c...

Not Funny - Resizing Problems

I'm having a problem with a few parts in the cabinet not resizing with the rest. My cabinet design is not the norm for the toe kick. I had to add a panel to represent the toekick so I didn't get the cutout on the side of the cabinet. I did this and it is associated with the cabinet. Also my face fra...
