Hi Brian, the program adds the thickness of the material to the width of the end to allow for mitering. the distance from the back to the short side of the miter will be 11.75".

From what I understand the nest is giving us an elevation of the part. Hence the width running left to right and height running top to bottom. I think it should show us the dimensions of the part in width x length.

It's not the job Jason. Anything you nest shows up as width and height being as you look at the sheet. It should be showing width and length as per the grain of the sheet stock.

Jason, try to disassociate the blocks from the back wall. It seems when you select Wall in the LDE and hover over the back wall it hi-lites the block.
