Re: Metal Drawer Systems

Thanks Kerry. I'll try the negative depth, it sounds like that may the problem. I was entering a positive depth (following the help file) with no luck.

Re: Metal Drawer Systems

I resorted to adding the holes in manually. It added the slide holes for the side members fine, but wouldn't add them in to the back of the drawer front, no matter what I did. I had to remove the front holes altogether from the slide pattern, as all though they weren't showing up, they were throwing...

Re: Metal Drawer Systems

I've been trying that and the holes aren't showing up on the back of the drawer front for some reason. From what I can tell. I'm doing everything as the tutorial is showing to do it, but still can't get the holes to show up... FWIW, I'm using just drawer fronts (no drawer box) and trying to apply th...

Metal Drawer Systems

In what area of the software do I set up the drilling pattern for these? I read the help file, but wasn't sure where to actually start.

Thanks

Re: Flip ops

Hard to say without seeing the cabinet, but have you tried setting the hole patterns to slightly more than 1/2 the material thickness? At one point (in at least the SB Link) I needed to set the depth of shelf holes more than 1/2 material depth to get them to drill through on partitions. There was an...

KCD and Shopbot Link

I'm guessing that I cannot pull a file from KCD into the SBLink for machining is that correct?

Turn Labels Off For Some Parts?

It would be nice to be able to do this. Our drawer boxes are nested with all other closet parts. The drawer box parts never need labels as they're self explanatory. The labels for these parts are printed then end up in the trash, as they're not applied to parts. Not a huge deal, just seems a little ...

Re: Drawer with Stretcher?

Thanks Scott. I've been on the verge of just switching to 3/4" bottom on my drawers, and just hearing that someone else does the same may be enough incentive to push me in that direction.

Drawer with Stretcher?

Is there any way to add a stretcher (or partition) to a drawer? On larger drawers, we add a stretcher under the 1/4" bottom for additional support. I was hoping to be able to do this in the drawer box editor, but am not seeing the option available.

Thanks

Re: Angled Shelf

Thanks Wally, I just saw this reply. This particular cabinet is just a single shelf, not top/bottom but I do like what you've shown for those shoe towers and will give that a try next one we have.
