All,

I believe Jason stated in a previous post (search the ecabinet software forum for the keyword vista) that v6 will be both vista and xp compatible. I don't know what date they are plan to release v6.

Gene,

Looks fantastic - looks like it's been there for a long time. I love the look of the rustic elder. Good job on the rendering too.

Dan, I am grateful you were able to type this entry into the forum - that we all didn't hear about it from someone else... Thank God indeed. Your last line really sums it up perfectly, and could save countless injuries if followed: \"Don't rely on \"habit\" for safety either--make it ...

David, I'm glad the gas has passed.  I've transferred files between computers by copying the entire eCabinetSystems_Backup directory from your old computer to the new computer. Just make sure you put them in the right place. Find the existing Backup directory and replace it with the copy ...

David, I'm not having any troubles using the M90 and FX2500. With two button plus roller wheel mouse (corded or cordless) things work just fine - hold down shift then click and drag the left button to rotate/spin. Hold shift and both buttons and drag zooms in and out. I can't imagine what's up? Dale

Steve, A very good question, stop beating yourself up - that's what we are here for, to help each other out. When you are in the \"detail room\" section of custom layout you should be able to left click the cabinet you want moved. Next hold down the shift key and either use the arrows (mak...

Anthony,

I'm not having any problems updating cost in 5.1v4. When eCabs first fires up, it asks what do you want to do. Click the \"define mat'l cost and dims\". Highlight the stock to be updated, enter the costs and hit \"update\". Is this where you are having problems?

Kerry, Maybe the forum crew is just a little shy (oh, they're shy all right... ) so I'll start off by sponsering you for your router. I'll pledge the first $500 - you have helped me over the years enough to fetch that much for sure. So come on everyone, \"give 'til it hurts\" and he...

Joe, I was setting up my new (used) Powermatic 66 5hp - I had made enough money to start upgrading the shop backbone tool. In making a zero clearance insert (with splitter pin) made out of baltic birch, I had just cut the blade slot (with the fence resting on the insert to keep it down). In my attem...

David, Sorry to hear about your accident - I hope you heal up fast. Icepacks will be your best friend for awhile, I'm sure. Note I too have suffered a table saw \"incident\" (not accident as correctly noted by Mike Seisser) that took most of my left hand. I still have my thumb (so I can al...

Glenn, I highly recomomend you take Dan's advice and by a scratch&dent (or other) from the Dell website. I did and could not be happier (Thanks Dan!). $1800 for a $3600 machine and I'm able to really put eCabs through it's paces. It's about time I jumped into the 20th century - now that it is ov...
