V 6 locking up my pc
I am running the same pc I did fine with on the old version, but with V6 I am locking up and the whole pc just freezes. I have to do a hard reboot when this happens. Even the cntl alt delete won't work. How can I go back and get an extension on the 5.2? I have parts to cut. I knew I should have wait...

Re: faster way to make a TWD?
I was a little leary of new software. I thought maybe there was just an easier way than what I was doing. Folks talking about their computer not being fast enough anymore and other troubles has me a bit concerned. Even though it's been beta tested, it seems like the new software is always a little b...

faster way to make a TWD?
I am going through to much time tring to get a batch or job into a twd. Is there a fast easy way, and could someone tell me step by step what it is. I can usually get it done, but it takes me way to long, so I have to be doing something wrong. I can get cabinets in a batch or job easy enough and nes...

Re: software combatability with AXYS cnc?
If you buy a shopbot controller to run your machine it should work.

Re: Continuous Pull
If you post a picture of how you want it to look, maybe it will make more sense. Even Gary's photo doesn't click for me. However, I was thinking that a person could use the molding editor and create a molding profile for the purpose. Then the molding can be placed at whatever height you wish. I may ...

Re: Job Will Not Render
Kerry, I'm not sure how you found that, but you are "DA MAN" I just did a right click and selected all walls and hit delete, so I guess it took that one out also. I had to unselect one wall as it would not let me take them all out. I decided to leave wall one and it worked. If Rob deleted ...

Re: Drawing an ellipse circle
Chris, You can draw parts in other programs and imort a dxf into ecabs. Ecabs is kind of lacking in normal drafting operations. If you need a dxf of an elipse email me and I'll fix you up.

Re: Job Will Not Render
It is something to do with your walls. I deleted all the cabinets and it still crashed. Next I opened it again and deleted all the appliances and it crashed again. Then I deleted all the walls except #1 and it went to reder just fine. I'm not sure why, but if you take out the other walls and redo th...

Re: sides shorter than desired ??
I think I am going to try and remove the face frames from the cabinet, as I don't do those on the cnc anyway. I can still have the sides extend past the front to go into the dados in my face frames without having them on the cabinet. Then when I change material sizes, I should not have to make extra...

Re: Video Tutorial Part 3
When you are in the wall evevation mode and choose install wall specific items, choose door. There you will have the option to choose door color, trim color and make sure the boxes are checked to show the door and show the trim in whatever color you wish. i don't have the video, but thats how I do i...

Re: sides shorter than desired ??
Kerry, I wake up confused every day and stay that way most days. A little more confusion is no big deal at all. This means every time I change a material thickness, I need to change that float number also I guess. I am waiting for a fix on the shopbot link to cut dado's with a conventional cut inste...

Re: sides shorter than desired ??
Thanks Kerry, but I Want the deck slightly below the face frame.. Trying to land a perfect fit never works. I need two inches under for lighting and the deck starting there. That leaves the deck just below the face frame. I wonder if adding the deck float number that I did moved the bottom dado? Ken...
