I'm pretty new to this and I started out with V5. It was pretty slow, then I added 2 GB to my computer and it wasn't as slow. Then I did the V5.1.2 upgrade, and the V5 looked speedy. I like the new options in V5.1.2 but not at the cost of that much time. Just making a new seed cabinet, once you inse...

I went over to Mitch's place today (Thanks Mitch) and we stuck it on his computer (with a separate video card) and...... Same problem. I told him what to do and I got the same crazy Texture error at his place. I told him to delete a cabinet assembly and see how long it takes. Well after about 5 minu...

Re:
Leo What kind of graphics card do you have on your computer? Also I would like to know what the memory size is as well. I am still operating under the Motherboard Video System and have not yet upgraded to a separate video card. That is next on the list. Name Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset...

I gave up
I installed the V5.1 upgrade and it has made it a miserable experience to build a medium size kitchen. Everything is taking 10 minutes to do. Every time I make a change I go watch the TV while it chugs away at 100% CPU usage for 10 minutes. I'm running a 2.8GHz w. 2.5GB ram, still using the onboard ...

Drawers
Ever since I switched over to V5.1 my drawers seem to take a very long time to build within the software. In V5 it was always the slowest action but now it is extremely slow. And it seems to do it more often. Like when you are building a new seed cabinet and you go to the door/drawer editor. When it...

The last smaller job I used the optimizer and I was able to do it my normal way on my CAD and get a 25% better yield. It showed I needed 4 sheets and I was able to do it with three. Even with the cost of labor added in I still saved $90. Not a huge savings, but if I save this much on a job that had ...

OK, Same cabinet but a different problem. After I rebuilt the cabinet (in V5.0) I switched over to V5.1 Had a couple of weird things happen. The doors lost there texture and reverted back to unfinished Maple, which is what they started as before texturing with the camel color. That was an easy fix, ...

Re:
Leo, I am looking into this....I have been trying to figure out what went wrong, but can't seem to do anything with the cabinet itself. I will try and recreate it the best I can, and repost it. Look for it In your private messages. Well, I have redrawn the cabinet and it has changed shape a few mor...

What happened to my Cabinet?
I was making this cabinet and fighting tooth and nail with the software to make it do things it didn't seem to want to do. I was just about finished with it, making incremental saves and it gives me an error saying upper rail dimension error. I hadn't touched the upper rail since the beginning of th...
