Jacob,
The rectangular optimization shouldn't be affecting what you are seeing. Can you send an export from Control Nesting, as well a the DXFs causing issue, and a screenshot of the nest you get that is incorrect? You can send all of that to program@thermwood.com Attn Clint.

Re: 7.04 extra edgebanding images
Extra edge banding images for multiple materials (requires custom rpt) (ADDED) I'd be interested in obtaining this custom rpt. I currently use the RPT attached below. Could it be modified to support these extra images? Tommy, If you only wanted the cabinet number and the edgebanding images, it migh...

Re: THM.exe Crashes when Nesting
Philip,
There is not a download for the software itself. We ship each machine with a restore disk that would restore Windows and the machine files back to what it left her with. If that is not with the machine you should be able to order another through CNC Automation.

Re: THM.exe Crashes when Nesting
Philip, Make sure to follow the below steps for proper uninstall and reinstall of 5.59 Patch 3. 1. Close down THM. THM must be closed for the installers to work properly. 2. Run the installer for 5.59, choose Remove. 3. Run the installer for 5.59 and let it install. 4. Run the installer for 5.59 Pat...

Re: THM.exe Crashes when Nesting
Philip, As a quick check, try running the installer for Control Nesting. Installers can be found here https://www.thermwood.com/updates_control_nesting_home.htm. You can run the installer for the version you are on or if you are currently past version 5.59 Patch 3 you can update to latest version. I...

Can you post pictures of these error messages you are receiving? Make sure to include the entire screen so we can see what all is going in the background.

Re: Offal cut-through depth
Tommy, Your off fall that you used for material was made from a file where your 16mm material was entered as thicker than the new .twd. The off fall was created from a file with the 16mm material that was set to 16.3mm, the current .twd it was set to 16mm. It's a branch in the code between cutting p...

Re: Optional stop
Will, Usually customers that use fixtures will use it to proof out a program. It will be either inserted between tool calls or between operations. With optional stop you can have the program stop without needing to be there to block stop at right point or insert an M00. They can then check if everyt...

Re: MDF shaker doors
We are working on it, many irons in the fire currently. Unfortunately like everything else, it isn't a simple turn it on change. Integrating the Door/Drawer Designer into Cabinet Editor is a big change.

Re: Optional stop
Tommy, Optional stop functions the same as M00(program stop), but is conditional. Meaning it only functions if the operator tells it to. When the control encounters an M01 it looks to see if optional stop is enabled. If it is, then program execution stops. Operator must then invoke a function to con...

Re: Profile modeler inconsistent toolpath
What is the reason for the cuts being different on the front edge and the toe cut, when they were created with the same tool and applied the same? The Part Editor - Profile Modeler relationship has always been very difficult. I wish I could learn more about it. Kerry, In my speculation (software en...
