Peter, You are going to get lots of inquiries on this one. Mine: What is \"one inch sm\"? Are the interior cooler surfaces actually finished walnut? What is the expectation for moisture build up inside and its affects on the wood? Finally, do you have a source you can share for the refrige...

NEW YEAR'S WISH!

Here's my New Year's wish........ I wish (and hope) that the hard-working Thermwood team of programmers would stop introducing new features for a while and get the existing software V5 running solid and without quirks. To move ahead when there are so many devils running around in the present version...

Merry Christmas, My eCab went nuts!

First, Merry Christmas to all of you guys. There sure is a swell bunch of guys online here and all of you have been a great help to each other and to me, so Merry Christmas to you all. Now for the bad news. Weird stuff has been happening to me. Yesterday and today, when clicking on the eCab icon to ...

Lamar, I am with the rest of the guys. When you figure out your man-hours and come up with a price, that's it. I would not do this job for less than you have quoted or you reduce your wage/hour. I have lost some jobs like this as well, and every time it happens to me, another one comes along that wa...

Lots of stuff going on in this thread, and I am late to the party, but relating to job file size when saving the room, I noticed on my machine that having several drawings made in the DE and saved with the job adds LOTS of size to the job and slows the saving process accordingly. I don't make any dr...

Brian,
Yeah, I see.
I zoomed in and see that is not the finished top that I thought at first glance at the pix. The granite guys will lip that nicely I suspect.
Still like the work though, customer should be happy.

Brian,
I too like how you installed the crown. Very nice touch.
The counter top on the breakfast deck looks very thin compared to the massive support corbels. Are you going to add a face trim to thicken the edge impression?

Rolf,
In a second look at the pieces, I see the sunburst pattern in the top of the unit. Is that separate pieces cut and joined, veneer, or what?
Nice work

George,
The thought just occurred to me that you could have a \"deluxe\" model to offer that had stone marble inserts in the center sections of the three panels on the front. Then, there would be even more demand?

Just picked up an order for this project today. Still working on upgrades though, rope twist columns, etc. I'll post either the updated rendering or the completed photos later.

HHmmm, Is this what you're looking for? Threw it together in a few minutes in eCab. The stiles of the face frame may be edited to contain any kind of cut you may wish to make on the surface, since eCab allows you to create your part cutting tools as well as providing a selection of pre-provided tool...

Yes Rick,
The two left cabs are in the range of 60\" so they are quite wide. Also, the cabinetry fits into three existing alcoves.

This is the latest project output. The countertop and stone fireplace facing have deliberately been made un-matching to remind the customer the counter top is existing and not included in the project (inducement to change it, huh?) The thick, lower shelf in the first alcove upper cab is actually a f...
