Re: Forensic study of downloaded cabinets
Thanks for looking, Clint. I have since found that parts CAN be examined to see specs and settings, but one must be in the right editor to be sure. One little hangup remains, and it is with parts that have been part-edited with holes, contour cuts, etc. There is no way I can see to get the details ...

Re: Override Tool Life timer
Tommy, You're welcome. Technically after the tool is called you could use AFL to read the life, record it as a variable, run your program, then at the end of the program, use the variable to write the life back to what it was. But calling a different tool number you don't care about is easier. -Clint-

Re: Saving a Created Tool
I,m having trouble saving a tool profile. When I try to save a created profile I'm only given the aption to sav as an x_t file instead of a tol file. I've created and saved tools in the past (been a while), what am I doing wrong? Tom, You need to choose the Create Tool button (looks like an arrow p...

Re: Override Tool Life timer
Tommy,
There is not, however instead of calling a tool number you use, set up a tool number that has same pickup and drop off location as the tool you typically use. The machine will still pick up the same tool to run the program and count away life for that tool.

Gene,
Can you post the cabinet or point me to the specific cabinet and library it is in?

Re: Forensic study of downloaded cabinets
Gene, Two things I can see from your images: One is that the parts in the image are likely for a top, it is just set as Top Stretcher. You'd need to look at the Construction Parameters for the top to see the settings. The second is at the top left of the Construction Settings it shows Add Stretcher ...

Re: Handling Sheets
Clint, kind of like that. So I am almost scared to ask but what is the cost of that from T-Wood? And you are flipping 4x8 plywood and we need 5x10 melamine that is full of holes already - will it stay intact doing that? One thing about the vacuum lift is we can pick off the stack by the machine and...

Re: How can this be made?
Gene, While I usually am not always the best at catching all the details on the first go, I believe you could make this much easier using the Std Base Frameless cabinet. Delete the back, set your toe kick height to the height of the bottom vertical piece, set cabinet dimensions, add your shelves, on...

Re: M61L8 being ignored
Thanks Clint, Daniel helped me sort it a little while ago. What's odd is the machine came with M61L8 set already. For whatever reason we didn't look at it during our test cut. I think we manually popped the pins up and didn't even notice they hadn't gone down. Forrest Good deal. Each machine gets s...

Re: M61L8 being ignored
Brand new CS43 for some reason ignoring the pop up and down pin command. There's 19 years between this machine and my C40 so not sure if I'm missing something or not. The commands are there but it skips right over them. Forrest Forrest, CS43s use output 1 for pop up pins. Should need M61L1 and M62L...

Re: Clint: Label request
Hey Clint, me here to bother you about labels again. The last one you made with the red sorting numbers has been awesome. Just today I was thinking of one more thing that would make them perfect: Could there be a colored square unique to the job to identify at a distance which job a part goes to? W...
