Order of Drilling Stacked Holes
The attached image shows a hole pattern I'm needing help with. The yellow is a 20mm hole, 14mm deep, the red is a 10mm hole 19mm (full depth of the material). In the SB Link, I'm using my spindle to 'drill' these holes. At present, it creates the 10mm hole first, then the 20mm hole. I'd like to reve...

Re: Frameless Corner Cabinet with Angled Front
My vote would be for an option to add material to the sides, if desired.
It's very odd that it's factored in automatically, without any indication of it doing so. It's a mistake waiting to happen.

Frameless Corner Cabinet with Angled Front
Can someone tell me why the software extends the depth on this type of cabinet by the thickness of the side panels? I enter a left and right depth of 304 and it produces parts for a 323 deep cabinet. The only thing I can think of it that it allows for the sides to be trimmed at the same angle to mat...

Thank you for 'No Drilling'
Just used this option in the SBLink and it helped me salvage a sheet that I had mistakingly run with 'no outline cuts' selected. Thanks very much for adding this feature in.

Re: Oversized Holes
Thanks very much for the feedback, I'll take a look at the machine tomorrow. What's odd is that it comes and goes, and when it does happen it's confined to a single job, but happens all throughout that job.

Re: Oversized Holes
Hi, same material used from job to job, no changes in the link settings. The same bit is used for multiple jobs. One job (most) will be fine, then on the next, all the 8mm holes are oversized, then the next job they're fine again.

Oversized Holes
I'm having an issue machining the RTA pattern shown in the attached photo. The pattern has an 8mm through hole cut in the field of the 20mmhole, which allows the fitting to be tightened from both side of the part. This hole then gets a covered with cap which has an 8mm stem that fits into the hole. ...

Re: Shopbot Link approaching almost 3.5 years since last update
Would it be possible to add the option 'No Drillings' similar to 'No Outline Cuts'? From time to time I've had to stop the machine mid sheet (broken bit, glitch etc), and in order to continue needed to run the entire sheet again. Where many of our parts have full line boring, and the drilling is don...

Re: SB Link Printer Setup
Thanks very much. I'm going to hook up my old control computer later on today (hopefully) and take a look at how things are setup there.

Re: SB Link Printer Setup
Most recent version of the Link is installed so not clear why it's not remembering my printer selection.

Re: SB Link Printer Setup
Should be the most recent version, but I'll check in the morning. I do still have the old control computer, so may take a look on there to see how things were setup. Thanks

Re: SB Link Printer Setup
Those are the steps I'm following too, but it's not remembering the printer I'm choosing to print the labels for some reason.

Re: SB Link Printer Setup
I've got PDF factory setup as my default printer, because I believe if I setup the Dymo printer as default, then the extra steps would just switch over to printing the sheet layouts when I went to print those.

Does anyone know how to do this (Thermwood?) There's 9 keystrokes involved in manually selecting the printer and printing labels...
