Can you adjust the hole pattern for different KD fasteners for the lock dado?
Thanks,
Zach

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???
I just got a flier from one of my distributors that they will be carrying the "cabinotch" system of knock down cabinets. The flier also explained how CFP bought out "cabinotch" and the system will be supplied with their purebond plywood. It looks like CFP is going after the cabin...

I talked with someone at Thermwood last week and they told me this will not be available to us. Columbia Forest Products will be machining all the parts for Home Depot.

Brad,
Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought I just needed to double check.
Thanks,
Zach

blind dado dxf drawing
Any one ever run blind dados off a dxf drawing?
I was wondering what would be the proper procedure for this process. Do you draw the dado operation and step the outline cut in.
Any one got a sample drawing?
Thanks,
ZachF

Constraints
I have some standard closet components set up in a library. They have 32mm system holes the length of the panels 72". Is there a quick way to apply constraints to the whole pattern or will I have to add constraints to each hole?
Thanks,
ZachF

Re: Barb dado plunge
Forrest,
I am thinking about trying the bard dado. I am assuming you are using the 1/4" tool available. Can you give me some info on your settings you are running with this tool; i.e. feeds and speeds.
Thanks,
Zach F

Re: Cutting aluminum sheet
I just wanted to thank Ryan, Brent and everyone else for their suggestions and help. I ended up getting the tool that Brent recommended (Onsrud 63 series o-flute). I didn't cut it one pass like everyone said I could, I was a little conservative. I figured I would post my setup in case anyone else ev...

Clearance between parts with control nesting
I have a job I am trying to nest 14 pieces on one sheet. I can't seem to get CN to do it. I can put it on my other software and there is more than enough room to get the parts on to one sheet. I think it must be in the part clearance settings on CN. Is there anyway to adjust this setting to a smalle...

Cutting aluminum sheet
Can anyone give me some help with cutting and drilling aluminum sheet. I have 3 pcs of 6061 about 38in. x 38in. x.190 to cut and drill. Looking for some recommendations on feed speeds and cutting parameters. I have a 3/8 low helix cutter that is supposed to be for aluminum and cobalt drill bits for ...

Internal Error 1500
I know the offices are closed for the Holiday, so I was wondering if anyone on the forum could help me out. I just got an error message "Internal Error 1500. Report to Thermwood". I am getting the error after I try to home the machine. It seems the x-axis doesn't want to return to zero. I ...

After doing some research I think we are going to the HP Officejet Pro 8500. It seems to be the best value of everything I have seen.

Printer Recommendations
Can anyone recommend a good printer for everyday use and printing renderings. We tried the Kodak with the inexpensive ink, but have had numerous problems with the printer over the last year. The ink was inexpensive, but it seemed to not last as long as our old HP office jet.
Thanks,
Zach

Re: bobcad-cam
We have been using bobcad since the early 90's. Do you have any specific questions you need answered? We are running V23 with the bobart feature. I attached a lithophane I made for my cousins wedding present using bobart. This was carved out of 1/4" thick solid surface and backlit to reveal the...
