A WIP: Request comments and suggestions, please

Hi, friends. This is an entertainment center I am currently designing; it is still a work-in-progress (a WIP). Still playing around with the following: 1. Crown molding. As you can see, I have used three different styles, to see which one the client likes best. 2. Will use MDF core alder ply for the...

Lyndon,

Paul was exactly right! I have attached two files:

1. The room, with Enhanced View selected

2. The same room view, but rendered.

Your toe kicks are perfect!

Kyle, You must associate everything to a wall, if you want to adjust height. A very useful hint from one of the gurus on this forum: Adjusting the height works especially well for light fixtures, to highlight different things in your room renderings. Since they will go right through installed equipm...

Thanks for the wonderful economics of the issue, Dean! I always seem to forget about the network behind my screen  . But I AM truly glad that the quota will increase some time in the foreseeable future. I was getting ready to ask whether Thermwood would match dollar for dollar a \"donation...

Re:

You don't have to remove the limits. Just make a permanent archive of the most useful information... Therein lies the problem, Leo. Who would decide what is "the most useful information" ? What is important to me may not be to you, or vice versa! The true value of this forum is that the i...

Leo,

Doing as you suggest, are the archives also searched and displayed when a user conducts a regular search?

I would not want to have to search two different locations to get relevant hits. But I may have misunderstood your explanation.

You are correct, Mike. It seems that many, if not most, of the Wizard contributors' attachments are GONE! This includes your attachments, Dan's, and Kerry's, for sure. To the Forum Admins: PLEASE consider removing the limits on attachments. By applying these limits, the forum becomes less user-frien...

Consider removing 16MB limit to Upload Quota/attachments?

Question: WHY do I bring up this issue at this time? ANSWER: Because several of the searches (Customer Images, etc.) I conducted recently yielded hits without the (original) attachments! The results of the searches were of little value to me - BUT they could have been VERY valuable had the attachmen...

I bought a Nikon D50 about a year ago, along with a good 18-50 mm wide angle lens and a telephoto. While the camera is only 6.1 effective mega pixels, having good photo editing software is absolutely key to good end results. I have also had Paint Shop Pro for several years, and about two years ago I...

Thanks, Mike! I had already forgotten about the Copy and Paste stuff. One more thing, which will be quite helpful once you get a better feel for the program: Once in the Line Drawing Editor (LDE for short), press the F1 key. This will bring up the Help Section called Area Overview – Line Drawing Edi...

Mike, I just started using the software myself, so my expertise with Accutrans is quite limited  . A quick search of this forum will reveal recent threads and comments made by much more experienced users, especially regarding your use of 3D software packages. I totally abandoned traditional CAD...
