make a cabinet with a face frame only.then size the rails and stiles to your overlay( for example a 1/2 inch overlay would have 1/2 inch rails and stiles)add the door then save this cabinet to your library we have a separate library for doors. You can then batch the doors and resize as you wish.

Scott, thanks for reply. When you say set max plunge to .25, will it then make 3 passes if I have a 0.625" deep rout? Daniel, thanks too for replying. We use comp bits whenever we can but going only .188 deep would be on the upshear portion and that is no good in melamine! I need to upgrade ou...

we regularly use 3/8" or 5/8" or even 3/4"mdf for our waste boards we just fly cut down at 1/16 increments until we reach the thickness we want

Hi Rob: We use down spirals for all of our pockets and dadoes in plywood,mdf and solid stock we have cut very little mel allthough what we have cut they seam to work well because there is no upward shear to give any tearout or chips.As for deep routs you coul allwase set the max plung to lets say .2...

Hi Tom Unless your software has a post processor for your machine you can not generate the appropriate code to cut a 3d carving. You need a different program such as ARTcam or Master cam installed on your computer. Then you export the file from 3d Max as a dxf or a stl to that program and apply the ...

Ok I opened the program in note pad it seams that all I have to do is set up the 999 tool to the new tool in tool management. Am I correct on this?

help setting up new fly cut tool
Our Fly Cutter got bent and we need a new one but the fly cut program that came with the machine is set up with our current 1.75 dia. tool. I searched the online store but cant seem to find a tool with that dia.Can the code be edited so we can use a different dia. tool?
