Drawer Slides, Different Types Same Cabinet?
Is it possible to specify a different slide for each drawer opening in a cabinet? I'm using a metal drawer system, and the hole patterns are the same for the member that mounts to the cabinet side, but the height changes with the different height drawers.

Re: Using Stretchers to Place Drawers
I considered doing that, but wouldn't the depth of the fixed shelf change as you changed the depth of the cabinet? I'd like it to cut all the stretchers the same size, each time.

Using Stretchers to Place Drawers
Is there a way to make this work?
I'd resorted to using modified fixed shelves for this, as I couldn't get the drawer/door editor to recognize the stretchers I was placing. I'm now finding that this ends up getting fairly involved when I want to use blind dado construction for these pieces.

Re: Base Cabinet Places off of Floor
Just checked that, and I do have the setting for base cabinets at 0" off of floor. My other cabinets are placing ok, not sure what's going on with this one.

Base Cabinet Places off of Floor
When I place this cabinet, it's ending up too far off of the floor. It will have leg levelers, so it should be 110mm of the floor, but it's ending up higher than that when placed. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Re: Can't Dado Top for Back
Thanks Joe. We'll see, when I go to cut it! The one snag is that I haven't set up the drawer bottoms to adjust accurately if I change the depth of the cabinet. I do quite a few of these file cabinets, though, and can't remember the last time I needed one that wasn't 24" deep. MIght just be a ca...

Re: Can't Dado Top for Back
Dan,
I just tried that, and then a few other things, and still can't get the back to dado into the top.

Can't Dado Top for Back
Under construction settings for the back, the option to choose the joint type where the back meets the top is greyed out. Not sure why... (Be warned, it's a strange looking cabinet. I've used fixed shelves to generate the parts needed for my metal drawer system (Zargen)). 3 Drawer File Cab - 608mm D...

John,
Do post your results if you do end up trying this. I've been trying to figure this one out myself.

Label for Cabinets?
Is there a way to generate a label for each cabinet in a room? (Not parts, but completed units?)

Re: The operation performed...violate...
Chris, no end boring, the holes are just pilot holes for screws which self drill into the ends of the decks and tops. I've oversized the holes for clarity (4mm). The drill I use for the holes is also setup in the software as 4mm, even though the bit is actually smaller than that.
