Problems with drawer boxes tenons
Is there any known problems in 5.56 about drawer boxes tenons ? We just machined a job and everything is ok but the drawer boxes, tenons are not the thickness we asked, we use 50% with 0.025 tolerance but they are something like 0.26 thick. I attached the .twd wich I renamed .doc. In eCabs all the s...

Re: Problems with switch spoil
After you measure the tool manually, you need to set your switchspoil value to 0.000 and then measure the tool with the sensor. This will give you a daylight value that is the distance from home to just the sensor. You can then take the difference of these two values and use this as your switchspoil...

Re: Problems with switch spoil
When I'm runnign the X-Surf program I can't see any ABSOLUTE value anywhere....I can see the daylight wich is 7.904 compared to 7.906, that's good... Is the thickness of the spoilboard wich was set some time ago, could be a factor or it does not matter if my switch spoil is set ?

Re: Problems with switch spoil
No I'm not, just did it again and all was ok. If I go manually on the spoilbaord I get 7.906 and if I go with the tool manager I get 8.184, so switch spoil has to be set at 0.278, which means that the sensor is over the table by this value. But when I add my wasteboard (app. 0.240") over the sp...

Re: Problems with switch spoil
Ok, than, if I want to start over, but don't change the spoilboard, where should I start, measure the thickness of the spoilboard, enter this thickness, after set the switchspoil following the steps, verify everything than add the wasteboard ? Last week I took off the wasteboard and calculate the se...

Re: Problems with switch spoil
Ok, then what might be the reason that can explain why I have to adjust the switch spoil so often ?? I say this because when I fly cut the wasteboard, let's say I ask to take off 0.005, I have to adjust the wasterboard as I would have took off 0.03 ???? So I think I have to adjust the set switch spo...

Re: Problems with 5.56
I think I solved the problem, I re-adjust the set switchspoil , it was not good anymore, but it's always that same problem, is it causes by the switch where I measure my tool ?? It's either this or the 3/4" thick spoilboard that gets thinner as time goes by......(don't think so)

Re: Problems with 5.56
Sorry I meant the wasteboard, we mostly never flycut the spoilboard (once in a year maybe)....but we always had that problem. Once we adjust the spoilboard, the first time we flycut the wasteboard it's ok, couple times later if I flycut 0.015, I have to adjust like if I had took off 0.025...a couple...

Re: Problems with 5.56
Can it be caused by this : When I surface the spoilboard, if I take off 0.02, I have to adjust to something like 0.04 so the outline goes throught ?? It get worse and worse but I do not touch any settings ??

Re: Problems with 5.56
I have sent all the info needed by email yesterday morning but still no feed back, is it something with my file or something with 5.56 ? Is it close to being fixed or should I go back to a previous version ?
Thank you.
Thank you.
