Computer Amoire

My wife wanted a cabinet that would house homeschool books (they are quite ugly) and a computer. She also wanted it to be able to be closed up and no one would know that it had a computer inside. After she rejected the secretary idea this designed surfaced. It is Alder with Rich Mahongany stain. It ...

Can anyone help me with placing counter tops? I have a cabinet with a dishwasher next to it with a finished end next to the dishwasher. I was unable to take the top across the dishwasher. How do I do that?

Re: Transfering Files

Great advice Wally, thanks. I never thought about doing it the long way. I always wondered how to get both files at once. It worked great. Yes, I have ecabs on the new system. It was the second program I installed, second only to my wife's business files  . Again, thanks.

Transfering Files

I am wondering how I can transfer the files of cabinets I designed from my old computer to my new one. I seem to be having problems do this. :wall: I have a cabinet I am in the middle of designing and I don't want to lose it.

Re: Angled Cabinet

Thanks Damon. I am working on that. I figured that that was the only way to do it. I am still trying to figure out how to do that. I am familiar with how to produce a door and add it. On the angle will take some learning. Thanks for the reply. I will try seaching the posts to find other information ...

Rick,

I appreciate your encouragement. I am still learning and am enjoying it quite a bit. I told my wife that I need to learn how to do that as it will be beneficial when presenting to a customer.

Al, I live in Joplin, Mo. I am very familiar with the St. Joseph area. My brother used to live there and I lived in Rock Port when I was younger. I visited your web sight and enjoyed the pictures of Maryville. I have passed there many times going to Rock Port. I still have a sister who lives there. ...

Rick, I assume you are telling me that my job is not yet done because the base was not designed on ecabinets. If that is the case then no, much to my discredit, I am not challenging myself with designing the base. I am not that familiar yet with the program. I am slowly learning by trial and error. ...

The design on the base was not done in ecabinets. It was hand drawn by myself and a friend. I gave him a rough drawing of what I wanted and he drew what you see in the pictures. We just made half and mirror imaged it on the wood. The hardest part was sanding inside the detail. Not really hard but ti...

Girls Dresser. Sorry, I messed up. Here is the ecabinets pic

My girls needed new dressers so I designed this one and made two alike. It sure was fun. It is amazing how a standard base cabinet in ecabinets can become a dresser. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee115/SJDESMOND/GirlsDresser.jpg http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee115/SJDESMOND/2007_1202Image0...
