Re: Odd Occurence(s)

Thanks Forrest, like I said, I haven't tried it at the controller yet, this is a new occurrence at my design computer(s) though. I've always been able to design my cabinets with 96" sides and backs, then nest 96.5" material to be cut at 96", and nest my 96" to cut 95.5". Onc...

Odd Occurence(s)

I've been cutting sheet goods 96.5" x 49.5" and 96" x 48" respectively. I've always been able to nest the 96.5" material to 96" lengths and the 96" lengths to 95.5", never been a problem. Now however, in order to cut the 96" I have to change the size of t...

Re: Utilizing Some Offalls

Thanks for the reply Scott. I followed your directions and did an air cut. I didn't want to sacrifice the actual piece since it's an expensive veneer core, so I cut it on the tablesaw. The aircut indicated that it would cut the dadoes, but not the notch for the toekick, so it would partially work. T...

Utilizing Some Offalls

Once in a while we end up with an offall that's the right width, or right height, or the right width and height and we just want to dado and perhaps cut a toekick, or drill shelf pin holes. Anybody know of an easy way to shut off the outline trim without going to the parts editor.

Re: 85% of my time waiting between mouse clicks

Incidentally, could be a tabs problem too.

Re: 85% of my time waiting between mouse clicks

Don, I believe my computer specs are pretty similar to yours. Mine is lightening fast with this latest build. My laptop hasn't suffered any ill effects either. My desktop is probably 4-5 years old. Lately I've been experiencing several shutdowns with the blue screen of death( on my desktop). After d...

Re: Tabs

Thank you for the suggestion Scott, I appreciate it and will look into it. My question would be, is it quite a bit slower than using tabs, the tabs worked really well when they were working properly? I have a job to cut using 5 4x8 sheets of 5/8" Baltic Birch. There are 35 drawers in this kitch...

Re: Tabs

Yep Scott, sounds like a govt beauraucrat thing, we plan on it, we'll get it done sometime, but we don't know when? I have a to do list and every day when I walk in my shop, I review it, maybe that would work for you folks as well. It seems to me that machinists, and we who have paid for the privile...

Re: Tabs

No, I can't say that I have Scott. It seems that we're always pressed for time, two men, doing 15 kitchens a year, we do whatever it takes to save time and get the job done. I'd think that after a year and a half or better, especially considering that it worked at one time before an update, it shoul...

Re: Tabs

I like the programs too. I've been using Ecabinets for several years and watched it get better and less buggy. I'd much rather see Thermwood charge every user a fee, so they can either hire a programmer, or programmers to fix things within a reasonable period of time. Not years like it is now, very ...

It's been about 1 1/2 years, is there any chance we can fix this? It used to work before one of the updates. You've fixed quite a few other things, how about this one? It's been too long!
