Re: Renaming a cabinet
Damon, I use to do custom cabinetry that would actually break into any numerical dimension. Such as a, 24 3/4" cabinet. I went through so much confusion that it was terrible. I found that creating a (single door and double door) cabinet in a particular style and height, is almost all I need for...

Re: mac computer
Hey Ron, That rocks! I have always had a fancy for Mac. I have never even really known why. Maybe it's because ~~ when you know you know; you know. You know? I will learn first, and avoid damage from the experiances of others, if at all possible. I will look forward to any updates you offer d...

Re: mac computer
I ask the questions because I know very little about Mac. I have had PCs exclusively. I only stayed away from the Mac because of all the software that it doesn't run. I would like to get a Mac. But Without clarity on my part it's out of the question. So apearantly you have an OEM version of XP. Can ...

Re: XP 64
Dean, Is the system specs in your signature line a screaming machine or is that just something you have to use. It appears that it should run e_cabinets with out hesitation. I was sure that Vista had so many bugs, I don't know why they even bothered with it. A former business partner of mine sent hi...

Re: Renaming a cabinet
Damon, Sounds like a competent install crew is needed too. I feel your pain and would as always like to add my 2 cents. At the present time there is no way to change the name unless you save it. Thus creating a large unnecessary database. You can ,for the mean while, place notes on your install plan...

Re: Exporting Cutlist to Excel
That's exactly what I remember. It seemed to me it went away after a while on it's own. I don't recall having another build or version resolve it.
That's what was even more interesting.

Yea I have to admit it is good techniques. I really like the idea for the art on the wall. If you can capture the clients artwork it will produce a fantastic display of talent.

Re: New User
Audie, A dxf file directly can only be imported into the LDE and the Shape manager. However, as far as the 3d object is concerned; It must be converted into an "STL" file first. This can be done through a converter Here is a link to such. http://www.micromouse.ca/ This "STL" file...

Re: Exporting Cutlist to Excel
Just for quriosity sake. Open file go to LDE print the first page go back to detail room go back into LDE and print second page to see if it crashes. I remember something like this happenning to me in the past as well. But it was a long time ago 2-3 years ago? And I think that's how I had to get thr...

Dean I'm sure can answer that question.
Although I know you will see an increase in performance, if you install a better graphics card. Unless of corse, you havn't already done so.

I still think it's a great way for Thermwood to increase their sales.
And I am still available in South Carolina.

Thanks Michael. Dan you're right about the presentation of the design, in its wonderful glory; photo-realistic. That's helps in a huge way to sell the jobs without doubt. There was one angel in the picture, but I guess it had better things to do than hang around listening to us... :joker: Hopefully ...
