Re: New registration everytime I start?
Using anti-virus software (including Spybot...), I run AntiVir anti-virus + Comodo firewall, (both from startup) Spybot S+D + Malwarebytes anti-malware, (scans about 1 a week) and recently added Spyware Terminator, running fulltime from startup. Everything seems to come up clean. I may just need to ...

New registration everytime I start?
I have been having more and more problems getting Ecabinets to start lately. Ecabinets seems to be getting corrupted somehow... First I am getting errors saying ecabinets base path is invalid. It cannot find the files, and I get many repeated errors saying it cant find X file. I uninstalled, and the...

Ecabinets slooooooowing down...
I'm working on a kitchen, not that large... When I try to add some turned legs from under the 'hardware objects' menu things slow to a crawl, with even just one leg. It is slow to the point of being unworkable. I didn't seem to have this problem before. Maybe V6 handles these items differently?? Thi...

No option to select mouldings?
Just wondering where the 'select moulding' option went? When in the cabinet editor, in the moulding editor section, I only see - Add top moulding, add mid moulding, add base moulding, and delete. Shouldn't there be a select moulding button, as there is a select door/drawer button in the door editor?...

No door or any hardware costs in V6??
I cannot get any hardware costs or door costs to show up since installing V6. The hardware I can make do without for now, but the door pricing is critical. I use ecabinet extensively when quoting a job, I am trying to get a quote done for this evening so am getting frustrated. I can manually calcula...

Re: No sheet material in cost sheet!!!
Hi Joe, All of these cabinets come from the library that I use daily. I do not normally have any problems with nesting using these cabinets. Usually I do my nesting / costing before the tops are added. In fact I was mistaken yesterday, I did actually save a version of this kitchen before I added the...

No sheet material in cost sheet!!!
Ok, I was just about to send this job off to the customer for approval, when I realized that there has been no allowance at all, for any sheet material in the cost sheet. So, the customer would be getting quite a good deal to say the least...( and I would be wondering why I seem to be so broke.....)...

Re: eCabinet Systems V6
Looking forward to the latest version.... sounds good so far! I am especially like the fact that the cabinet regeneration will be sped up. This should make quite a difference in the length of time spent designing each kitchen..... I know it's not a big part of the overall design process, but it has ...

Re: Upgrading..... recommendations???
Thanks guys, I purchased the Nvidia Quadro fx3500 (256mb) off ebay. The price was right at $197 with shipping, so now I just have to wait for it to arrive and I can continue building the rest of the computer. Unfortunately my existing setup has an AGP slot so I will be pretty much starting from scra...

Re: Upgrading..... recommendations???
One last question....
Would a good quality video card, the kind in most stores typically sold for high performance games offer comparable performance to the nvidia quadro 3500? Nvidia also offers these types of cards, are they totally different?

Re: Upgrading..... recommendations???
Thanks for the reply's guys.... I was planning on having a local computer store whom I deal with, build the system for me, swapping over things like hard drives, cd-rom's etc. from my existing unit. So I guess that my next question would be is what would be considered to be a 'workstation' class com...

Re: Upgrading..... recommendations???
Yes, I've got some ball park prices.... I am just making up a list of options to get quoted to see which which route I end up going. The video card alone could cost more than the rest of the system combined. Which is why I am looking for opinions as to what is available, and how much improvement am ...

Upgrading..... recommendations???
I am looking to upgrade my computer, to get ecabinets running as faster. Just wondering what others users have experienced with their systems.. Is there something available above and beyond the recommended system as posted below that I should look into? I don't keep up with the latest computer techn...
