Re: Offset at end of tenon
I'd try using some vortex 1/4" xp downshears for the tenons. Otherwise you may have to lie to the machine, tell it the diameter of your 3/16 is .177" or so.

Re: The old favourite Hoop Errors
Neville, Generally the first message you saw results from lost cabinet bodies. Why that happens is anyone's guess, but if you take each cabinet into the cabinet editor, select the cabinet, and right click, choose 'remove all part editor cuts' 'from entire cabinet' then let it rebuild - you should b...

Re: The old favourite Hoop Errors
I had this problem last week after an update, did a restore and turned off automatic updates until I can figure out which one caused the problem.

Re: how to dado all the primeter edges of a board
Create a cabinet with only a back, take that part into the part editor and then use a profile modeling tool to create the rabbet. The machine would have to be set up accordingly.

See if you can take your hard disk to someone who specializes in data recovery, most of the data might still be on the disk I would think.

Re: Metal Drawer Systems
You can only do it from the door drawer editor I believe. You add a drawer and check that box that says "add drawer box" and set up the parameters there after selecting a default box and pattern. Not sure if it can be done without a box, never tried.

Re: Metal Drawer Systems
Hardware hole editor, there's a tutorial in the help file. Basically you set up like a normal drawer slide only you can add holes to the back of the drawer front.

Suggested Profile Modeler Settings for Trim?
Hi, I've just recently run into a situation where I need to use the profile modeler in Ecabs/Control Nesting and was wondering what some good settings would be for doing some trim parts. I have a 3/8",1/4" and 1/8" ball-nose as well as down-shear cutters and just want to know what a g...

Re: Sharing libraries and relavent info via Dropbox
I think you'd have to copy all data from C:\Users\Public\Documents\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems and place in your dropbox in a folder called "Person A ecab data folder" and use it as your default directory. Person B would have to do the same thing only name theirs "Person B ecab data fo...

Might not be an ideal solution, but you could do that in the company name section instead of putting the company name put nx or ny.

Use the profile modeler in ecabinets instead of pocket.

Re: Flip op miscutting
I try to keep flip ops to a minimum... actually I try to avoid them altogether if possible. But when I do need them I don't use the whole sheet method, I do something similar to what Will suggested only I screw down two 7" or so wide strips into an L shape on the edge of the x and y axis. Then ...
