Hi Kerry. We do it this way sometimes. Create a material 4 or so inches thick. Size it to the length you want. Do the cut outs in the part editor. Yes, I have had that one popping up just recently. I don't what has changed. I have been busy, so just ignoring it, I haven't noticed it causing cutting problems yet.

Hi Forrest It could be a useful feature. I was cutting triangles the other day, 3 different thicknesses, so I picked 3 different random materials.
