Yes we do pocket hole our faceframes. We use a 1-5/8 wide rail and style for the most part and even at that minimum width we dont have trouble with the pocket hole screw going through the dado. Hey Mark, I use accurides undermounts and they require the same notch in the back, instead of notching, I just raise the whole back so no notching is needed.
