Countertop and Cutting in for Sinks
Currently when I add a countertop to a cabinet, I make the top shelf a different material that fit the specs that I need. Then I take the top to the parts editor and cut a hole for a sink. I am finding that I am repeating this process every time and it is time consuming. Any words of advice? What is...

Re: Hoops Error
Justin, This job was created with v5.2 build 2 and I am trying to open it on the same computer it was created on and also on an additional computer that has v5.2 build 2 as well. As far as moving it, I open eCabinets and then try to open through our network. I have also tried to use windows explorer...

Hoops Error
I did a search on this hoops error and didn't find the answer I was looking for so here is my situation. A drawing was created on a different computer that isn't up to specs. Most drawings done on this computer work out just fine. But this last drawing was created, and now I can't open it at all. Wh...

Re: I need help with this assembly
Joe,
Thanks for the info! Thankfully rescanning at a lower resolution worked, but I'll look into this software you mentioned when I get a chance.

Re: I need help with this assembly
Having that brick wall as a 1mb file, doesn't that have an effect on the speed of working with that job?
I'd like to be able to reduce the file size of these textures that I use regularly. Do you know if that is even possible?

Re: I need help with this assembly
Lamar, Thanks for trying! I went back in and broke up the assembly and I reallized that part of the problem seems to be the texture that I used for the material. For the texture, I scanned in a sample of my actual material so the size of the file is 400+ kb. I noticed that most other textures are un...

I need help with this assembly
Attached is an assembly that I am working on. For some reason this assembly is really slowing down my computer when I try to work with it. Can someone take a look and see what might be causing the slow down?
Thanks,

Looking for Info on a CNC Machine
I am looking to purchase a CNC and I was wondering which direction to go. This is what I am looking for: We mainly work with closets, so I need a cnc to drill 2 full line bores on each panel. Also with those panels, we use a rail hung system and I notch the top back of each panel. We use 4 x 8 sheet...

Re: Pricing User Created Display Parts
Kerry,
If I created a piece of moulding, could I price that in a per foot pricing? The moulding that exists in the program is priced that way isn't it?
If moulding can't be priced that way, do you have to individually price each piece then?
Just wondering...
Thanks again,
John

Pricing User Created Display Parts
Does anyone know if it is possible to price a user created display part based upon a per foot price, so as you resize the part, the price changes accordingly?

Kerry,
How do I zip a file??
I right-clicked on the file and I didn't see any options for zipping.
The file size is 9.4 mb. What is the limit for uploads?
