Re: CN Feature Request- One DXF Multiple parts

Have you tried to take the .dxf file into PE in eCabs. If all contours are closed you should have no problem doing it and it should be faster than doing it in CAD where you have to change layer names and have each part on different sheet. If the contours are not closed you should talk to your costum...

Re: max penetration and speed problem

Thank You David, but the pars are 3/4" wide, so if the speed reduction does not kick in the parts will move. I think the best thing to do is to wait for it until it's fixed.

max penetration and speed problem

If the max penetration is set up so there is more than one outline cut(multiple passes), the outline speed of the first cut is the same speed as the speed of skin removal if the part is on the small side. This is not a big problem, but it uses more time than needed and it can be noticed when cutting...

Re: CNC computer

Thanks guys. Ryan, i will call Thermwoo directly. Dan, i defragment the disk every 2 months, but it does not help as much as it did in the earlier days. I think that all of the new updates are slowing it down( THM v7, CN v5.47, Widows XP sp3, newest anti-virus,...), so i am hoping that more RAM will...

One quastion. When you say downloadable install, does that mean we can download it directly from internet, or we have to have earlier version installed on the computer?

CNC computer

We had our CNC for about 2 and a 1/2 years and the computer is sloving down a bit. With all of the newest updates it's not suprising at all. I am wondering what can we do to speed it back up. I am thinking to add more memory. What RAM is installed in the CNC computer?

Re: Upgrading..... recommendations???

makvan Have you considered building your computer. It will take a litle bit of your time, but you should save some money. If you know a little bit about computers, you can easily built one that is going to perform better than dell or hp and cost less at the same time. Just something to think about. ...

Re: CNC problem

Daniel,
I already tried this, but it did not help. Is it possible that the sensors are bad? The lights on them come on and off like they should, when the arm is retracted the top light is lit, when its extended the bottom light is lit.

Re: Blizzard? Snowstorm? How about a hailstorm

In '98 when i lived in Europe we had a hail storm. It lasted about 10 min, but 15 min later it came back and lasted another 10 min. There was about 8 inches of ice on the grund when it stopped hailing for good. I have never seen something like that before, or after that day. Luckily, it all melted t...
