Another solution is to specify a material size of 61 x 121? Or even bigger for that matter.
If you are looking for a realistic rendering you should find a way to show those shelves sagging about an inch . That way the client will not be surprised upon delivery.

Being able to cut various fonts is a source of revenue that is badly needed. The lack of this ability to leave islands in your pockets is the biggest short falls of this software. Not just 1 island but multiple islands.

To me it looks like a mdf door with veneer. Should not be that hard to do. Like Peter says use a single piece of glass.
