Most applications that I have been looking at are using vacuum cups to hold the parts off the primary surface for the purpose of using aggregates . I am also in the process of setting my cs45 up for the manufactuer of doors .I would be intrested in develping a dialog with you concernig this subject ...

twd file has no part editor data

I am able to create the part and creat the profile but when the twd file is produced there is no part editor data in the file

I not sure but I was changing my grid settingsjust before this occurred . at this point I have completely started over again reformatted my hard drive and reinstalling all software

shape manager crashes Ecab

Ever since upgrading to 5.2 every time I go to shape manager it crashes E cabinet software . I,ve tried uninstalling software and reinstalling 2 times and I still have the problem .Every thing else seams to work. When I look at the report from microsoft it identifies my E cabinet software as 5.1 26 ...

Thom Are you using hearing protection ? Put on some hearing protection and the screaming noise and loud pops won't bother you so much . Turn the machine up and let it rip. You are only intrested in the quality of the cut and if the bit is heating up. I also bumped up to the 1/2" bit right away ...

I figured this formula out a couple of years ago while building several pieces of church furniture. What I need to know was the length of one side to make the edge trim. You take the octagon width flat to flat and divide by 2.4142219 this will give you the length of one side.

you didn,t say what material you were cutting . are you sure that the bit is sharpe ? Will it schave your thumb nail? is your exhaust removing the saw dust ? are you cutting through in a single pass?Keep the rpms at 18000and use the feed rate override to experiment with the fed rate .
