Re: Edit Material A Side problem

I have been informed that this issue has been found and will be corrected in the next release of Control Nesting. Unfortunately, I do not know when it will be released.

Re: Edit Material A Side problem

All I did was verify that his issue was valid and not a settings issue. I do not know what the cause is. The software engineers have to figure that out. Once I know more, I will let you know.

Re: CN:5.70 issue on waste board settings

The newest version of Control Nesting allows you to create settings for each material group from the tooling area. If you set your wasteboard thickness in the settings area of control nesting, make sure you are setting the wasteboard in the correct group. You can see and change the groups in the set...

Re: Odd KD on Flip Opps

Your export file does not have the same twd file loaded that created the CNC file. Please email me the twd file and the job file from ecabinets to program@thermwood.com. Also, if you are using the newer version of ecabinets, v6.0 build 8, you will need to download the 5.59 patch from the website.

Re: Auto lube on table rails not functioning well

Check the oiler to see how often it drips oil. It should drip one drop every 2 to 5 seconds. If it is not, adjust the set screw for the oil, not the air. You may also want to turn your air pressure back down to the original pressure before you check this. If you need more information, contact our se...

Re: Pocket cleanup pass first on flip op?????

What version of Control Nesting are you using on the machine? This was an issue in earlier versions. If you can get me the version number and the export file from the controller we can test it here to see if it is an error that has already been addressed or if it is a new issue. Please email all of ...

Re: 5-axis Length Comp, part 2

We've been looking at the files you have sent in and it seems that the tool call prior to each M922 or M923 is causing the issue. The Qcore performs tool changes differently than the V7 and V5 and this difference is what allows it to work in V5 and V7 but not in V8. If you remove all of the unneeded...

Re: Tooling Setup Order

Sorry for the delayed response. i was out last week. If you are using a DXF file, then you can define the layer names with an order number so it performs the operations in the order you describe. If you are using a TWD file there is no way to define the order of operations.

Re: Tooling Setup Order

Josh,
Sorry but it doesn't work that way. The operations list doesn't determine what operation will be performed in what order, it only determines the order the tools are looked at when a operation is choosing a tool.

Re: larger tool selection for tenon thickness

Scott,

This has not changed. At the present time, it still looks at the tennon's width and uses a tool that is 1/2 the width to the full width of the tennon.
