Just FYI, I use another software that handles the machining this way and it eliminates the problem 100%.

Re: MDF shaker doors
Hey Kerry, and I think that's where the problem lies. What many of us ecabinet users have been asking for over the last 15 plus years Thermwood has decided to include in the cut center. The ability to make tool sets and apply to a door or panel is also possible in the cut center or at least its prep...

Re: MDF shaker doors
Just revisiting this topic. Really need the ability to create a flat recess mdf door and change it at a job level. We cut a few thousand a year and have several different styles of inside profiles with a flat panel. We also bore hinge marker holes and assorted drawer front bracket holes in the backs...

Dovetail machining order request
When machining dovetail dwrs from baltic birch we do a back notch for the undermount slides. Because of the machining order (skin before dovetail cut) it sometimes breaks the little tab off, I would say 1 in 100 times and always on the same end. If the order was changed to only skin the ends (instea...

Re: V-Groove
I finally remembered how I accomplished this. In part editor create the tool path as one continuous line connected at the ends off the part. Control nesting will then see it as a single pass when MDF "interior pass" is checked and that tool selected.

Flycut routine request
Our new machine has the flycut routine which is great but we run 2 waste boards. I know we can get around it by going into settings and changing the waste board thickness back to what it was before but it would be better if there was a checkbox to cut a second waste board at the new setting.

V-Groove
It's been a while since I've done vgrooves and I can't remember if I've done them in ecabs and control nest before so I'm looking for a little input. I've set up the tool in tool manager and included it in the mdf doors interior tool area as well as the custom tool in profile modeling. It looks like...

Re: M61L8 being ignored
Thanks Clint, Daniel helped me sort it a little while ago. What's odd is the machine came with M61L8 set already. For whatever reason we didn't look at it during our test cut. I think we manually popped the pins up and didn't even notice they hadn't gone down.

M61L8 being ignored
Brand new CS43 for some reason ignoring the pop up and down pin command. There's 19 years between this machine and my C40 so not sure if I'm missing something or not. The commands are there but it skips right over them.

I'll look around to see if I can find an older version too. You might wanna check on Ebay too. Sometimes you can buy old copies for little to nothing. If not I'm not sure what newer software will work for you.

Hey David, hope you are doing well. Will V25 do what you need? I have a copy sitting on the shelf that I'll send you. It might even include 2 seats. I think Bobcad will transfer ownership for $100. Check with them and let me know.

Re: Windows update causing ecabs to see new version
Clint, this last update said it was a major change in windows 10 but something happened during the update and it said "a problem occurred would you like to find a solution" or something like that. I selected yes and it kept doing its thing. When I tried to open ecabs it didn't recognize my...

Windows update causing ecabs to see new version
This is the second time a windows update caused me to get a new code for ecabs. Anybody seeing this or know what is happening?

MDF shaker doors
Sure would be nice to have the ability to save part edited doors to a library so they can be changed out at a global level. I've only been asking for at least 10 years and seeing how quite a few others on here do that kind of door I would think it would be a higher priority.
