Re: Shadow casting
Very nice usage Michael. I like to take a picture out the window of whatever the natural view is as well. Another tip, capture any artwork in the room (such as the Terry Redlin print above this mantle) and create a display cube that accurately represents it's WxHxD. Use the picture as the cubes imag...

Re: Tile Look in the Display Part Editor
If I'm not mistaken, the fix for this is to make sure your display cube is divisible by 4 in size.

Re: door pricing
Dan,
Click 'Edit' then choose 'Settings/Preferences' (you can also just hit Ctrl-E)
Choose 'Define Costs'
In the lower left hand corner of the pop-up, there's an input box for your alternate source door pricing. Either per door, or per square foot.

Re: Doors and drawers (Take 2)
Hi Jason, I won't mention 5.2. The doors and drawers improvement taking away time from other real important improvements is a bit like picking a meal at a restaurant. You like to pick more than one dish. However coming from another design program I can say sometimes more is not better. If you feel ...

Re: Scale drawings?
My workaround for this problem is make all of your copies first (drag them out of the way as you paste them) delete the original, then select all and resize as a group.

Gregory,
Do you need it for display purposes only or are you going to cut it on a CNC?

Re: end panels....HELP!
It would depend on the distance between the face of the fridge cab and the face of the upper. It's also a matter of personal taste. I would see nothing wrong with a flush panel on the side of that fridge cab.

Re: object elevation
I've never quite isolated what the cause of this bug is either, and it's been around awhile. The only workaround I've been successful with is a restart of the software, sometime sin conjunction with a reboot.

Here's an example of a resizeable door, made from cabinet components. Reverse engineer the settings if you need to change rail & stile widths, and use your own materials as desired. Resizeable Flat Panel Door.jpg Resizeable Flat Panel Door.hsf You would still have to add this to an assembly and ...

Re: Magazine
I haven't gotten past the full page ad on the inside of the front cover. I'm hereby requesting a new magazine as mine is now covered in drool (especially the $60,000 price). I'll need 4 more copies, one for each of my 2 partners, my banker, and one to replace this copy. Thanks in advance, Mike :mrgr...
