Re: Tool assignment?

I tried it today, the downspiral measured .370 and the re-sharpened compression measures .364 so Dans method worked out well.

KD/RTA Fasteners ?

Does anyone use these and do you have a preferred model number for the pins and cam. In Ecab there is a default Hafele number but I don't know what pin to use with it. We are getting a growing number of jobs (small elevators) where knock down cabinets would be a bonus and I would like to order some ...

Tool assignment?

How do I force the machine to use a specific bit to do a certain job? Example: I ordered a 3/8" downspiral to do a shallow pocket without chipping, how do I force the machine to use the 3/8" downspiral in toolholder #7 instead of the usual 3/8" compression in toolholder #1.

Re: Survey

Very busy here in SW PA. , can't get work done, need more people and larger building. Thermwood is running nearly 6 to 8 hours a day, then again we are nearly 95 percent commercial work which is booming in our area.

Re: No Scroll..

Pete, I tried another keyboard and the scrolling works perfect. A bad keyboard would probably explain why twice the control started typing random characters on the screen all by itself we had to shut down and restart the machine to stop it. Who do we contact for replacement?

No Scroll..

After our control update (ver 7.1.0.7 SE1149 05-15-2008) we can no longer scroll through lines of code by holding down the down arrow, when you try to you get an error box saying ( OPERATOR ERROR: cannot save part file while the machine is cutting.) the error doesn't make sense since the machine is ...

Re: taking a drawer box in part editor?

yes this is one of our biggest wishes, we do a lot of offices and having the CNC do the lock holes in the drawer faces would save a ton of time!

Production Sharing

Another cabinet shop in our area that doesn't have a CNC wants us to cutout cabinets and edgeband the parts. They are providing the materials and picking up the parts, how do you price this out, by the hour, by the sheet ? Whats the going rate?
