Re: Blum Tandembox drawer front
Hi Neville. :) I have never trusted the plastic bracket system to last for a long time. So my solution is to put another front piece as in the picture. Yes I know, another 12 edges to be edged for a 4 drawer bank, and they have to be cut over size to go through the edger, then re cut to the height t...

Re: Beaded panels in doors.
(Sorry Rick for the thread hijack) Hi Neville. Is that how Sydney is seen from afar, one big coffee shop? Its not as good as you think it is. All we make is flat white kitchens with Cappuccino colored doors, If you are lucky you may get a customer who wants a espresso style kitchen. :D I know what y...

Re: Beaded panels in doors.
Hi Rick Here is one I did in the part editor and constraint manager. It would be laborious to do all your drawers and doors because you have to set up every door and drawer for each unit that increases every 50 mm. It is resizable up to about 50 mm increments So 300mm unit to 350mm, 350 to 400, 400 ...

Re: Apron front single
Hi Wally No problem. That's a nice decent sized kitchen. You have put a lot of effort into the presentation. It looks great! I hope you get the job. :) I haven't actually seen stainless sinks like those, perhaps they will be the next big thing. I thought you might have put the stone over the top of ...

Re: Apron front single
Hi Wally
I see what you mean.
That round circle is the drain hole
The sink was about 19meters wide so the whole kitchen was in the sink.
I took it back into the part editor and have resized the sink so hopefully this one might work.

Re: Conestoga doors ignore partition and doors overlap
Hi Forrest I was going to report this one as well. I had the same thing happen with slab doors. All seems good untill you leave the door and drawer editor. I found the drawer box lost its side insets on the partition side as well, I think it was working off the center of the partition rather than fr...

Re: Windows8 deselect
Hi Guys Just a heads up If anyone else is having this problem I have worked out that when I have Photo shop 4 open, I cannot use the escape key in eCabs. I have updated to the latest version of eCabs and it is still happening. As soon as I close Photo shop the escape key works fine. There must be so...

Re: Windows8 deselect
Hi Scott Thats a good idea on the double buffering. I will try that. This computer is a lot better than the old one which was handling every thing just fine. The hard drive was starting to fail on the old one 8gb of ram and a i7 core, should be no problems. I just had a driver update and it has been...

Re: Windows8 deselect
Hi Josh. I understand what you mean. That still does work but it is slow when you have a few Items highlighted and selected I am talking about using the escape key to deselect a few items quickly. I find it a quicker way than double clicking on every item. And as i said it works for 5, 10, 30 minute...

Windows8 deselect
Hi Guys. I recently updated my computer and it has windows 8 on it. I can load items and select and deselect using the Esc key for a while, as per usual. After a while the escape key doesn't work and i have to restart the computer to bring it back. If I persevere with a job I can manually click to d...

Re: How many cabinet makers out there?
Hi Michael The eCabinet Systems Software thread is a bit more active and would get more views than this one. I'm no expert, but if you haven't already, you could try ticking the use graphics double buffering box which is in the settings and preferences. Somewhere to start anyway. If that doesn't wor...

Door drawer designer & Shape Manager
I seem to be having difficulty with the door and shape manager area. I develop a profile in the shape manager and save it but when I goto load it into the door designer not all the profiles are there. I can load some older profiles but not the new ones If I open an old file into the shape manager an...
