Re: How to see door material...
Hmm, hadn't thought of that.... Although, say fr'instance I name that thing "PF Maple", then the client says I want it A-1 maple. I change all the doors in custom layout - presumably it's going to keep the same part name, unless I delete or rename it, correct? Could be more misleading.... ...

How to see door material...
Hi, this has been an issue for awhile, I'm just finally checking to see if anyone has a suggestion - in cabinet editor, when I mouse over slab doors and the info window pops up, it doesn't include the material the door is made of. Is there any simple way of viewing this? I've been running into this ...

Re: Changing doors in batch cabinets
Thanks for the suggestion Kerry - that's what I usually end up doing (except I just use a single wall instead of a rectangular room). It does make it a little more complicated if I'm generating line drawings and renderings though - I have to delete the "batch" walls and save off a separate...

Re: Changing doors in batch cabinets
Yah, I suspect you're correct there. Drat.
Whilst I've got you - did they get rid of some shortcut keys - ie: pressing "L" to load item...? I've only started digging into v6, so I'm kinda fumbling here.
Thanks - Jason

Changing doors in batch cabinets
Hi folks, I've looked around and can't find the answer - is there a way to change doors in batch cabinets? I've got slab plywood doors, I want to change the material - any ideas?
Thanks - Jason
Thanks - Jason

Re: Leftover image problems
Here's another angle - if this was modern art I'd be happy.
... I mean, come on... really? This kinda stuff isn't going to sell cabinets. It looks equally crappy in presentation view.

Leftover image problems
Another problem - I added some panels to custom layout, now I have a ghost image following me around, into elevation view and cabinet editor. Also, as you can see from the elevation view image - the JPEG selection box shows up in the final image. Didn't this get fixed at some point in the past?!?? :...

Problem placing cabinets in plan view
Hi folks - when I'm in plan view of custom layout, if I try to place a cabinet next to another one on a wall, the cabinet that's already on the wall gets ejected out of the room. This happens when I try to place them "aligned to back" or "free style". Unfortunately, like most thi...

Re: Grain Matching in Nest
er.... are you talking about 1 drawer over 2 doors? I've never had it nest incorrectly, once I group them. I hate to ask, but are you looking at the nest diagram sideways? I guess a visual would help.

Re: What the hell happened to my SIX KITCHENS!
Hey everyone - just wanted to follow up by saying thanks to Larry, George and Scott for helping me out. One job was definitely toast, but Scott walked me through some e-forensics on the phone to discover what was going on with the other five. They're ok, thanks very much, and I can rebuild the first...

Re: Grain Matching in Nest
Hey Nat - super easy - in cabinet editor for each cabinet, in the main screen. Right click and select "group parts". Click on each part, you'll see it listed in the dialogue window. Click done - save changes to the cabinet, you're all set. Limitations - you can only group parts within one ...

Re: What the hell happened to my SIX KITCHENS!
Hi George - thanks for looking at this. Things are acting differently now. Previously I couldn't open anything - after the first file disappeared, anything else I opened would just result in a blank job, as I mentioned before. I shut down, restarted the computer - same thing. Now, I'm back to where ...
