When you create the geometry for a tool in the shape manager you should first save the geometry file by clicking on the save button and giving it a (name.x_t ). Once you have saved the geometry file you can create...

Well I hadn't tried to add solid stock to a shelf yet, but I did assume that simply setting it up in the edgebanding would be the easiest... I know we still have some issues with the edgebanding particularly out at the controller...so I have stayed away from using it. However it's relatively easy to...

Forrest...how fast are you running your 3/8 bit in plywood and/or mdf? Are you actually pushing 1200 ipm? That's twice as fast as they recommended when we were trained up in Dale.

The tabbing is located in the setup of the rolling nest software out at the router.... I have never used the tabbing feature and without being at the controller I'm afraid I can't answer your question. I'll be in the shop tomorrow, so if I remember I check the settings and see if I can give you a ha...

Hey Forrest... We were using a high speed carbide spur drill bit (set in a 5-6mm collet). It was being used solely for drilling shelving holes. I'm not sure why it started slipping - we've been using it for some time and the nut seemed tight on the collet. We changed to a 5mm 2 flute spiral upcut......

We didn't actually send the part to the router...I pulled the shelf with holes and we drilled the cabinet on our blum press. The problem I was having with this particular corner cabinet was the holes were showing up on the wrong side of the right panel. We did have a problem recently with our router...

Mark

If you are machining the drawer boxes on your router the following drawer which was a default drawer added with V5 is what we have been using to avoid the notching issue.

Dovetail Dbx -slide in btm-.hsf
