Brian,

Taking the cabinets from the batch back into the cabinet editor and regenerating it works fine. It nests with all the wholes showing in the nest area. Previously it only showed one hole in the panels.

Brian,
I'll start looking into this issue again now that I have the files. I assumed you solved it since I never heard back from you last week.

Mark, The collets should periodically be changed and cleaned. As a rule of thumb, they should be changed every 1 to 2 years depending on the amount of use. The grain on the dxf files follow the x axis of the drawing, so when you draw your dxf file in your cad system, you need to know how the grain will lay on the part and draw the piece so the grain is following the x axis. Mark, Your issue does sound like the one Forrest describes in his post. The way to test this is run a small piece using a conv. cut and then cut the same piece using a climb cut. If the ledge shows up on the conv. cut and not the climb cut, then we are looking at the same issue Forrest described. If...

Dan,
Both tools will work for your material but I would go with the 1/2 bit. This will give you the flexability to use thicker or thinner material to a certain extent. Most of the customers I have worked with were using the 1/2 tool on 5/8 material with great success.

leo Attached is a cabinet that is almost exactly what you want. I offset the toe kick and then took it into the part editor and put a simple cut in it. I then took it into the constraint manager and constrained the cut. Look over the construction settings and let me know if you have any questions. 1...

Jim, what version of Control Nesting are you using? It sounds like all of your settings are correct. Please give me a call (1-800-221-3865 EXT.245) and we'll try to get this figured out for you. Thank you.
