Re: door gaps
 I feel like a fool! I tried my method with a standard cabinet and got the same results as Dan and Kerry and whoever else tried it. The doors stayed equal widths and strayed over to the one side. Then I opened one of the cabinets that worked...mmmm and found the difference. These were cabinets...

Re: door gaps
After posting and re-reading my post above, it sounded very blunt to me. I did not mean it that way. Gene's solution is a very viable one and just once more goes to show that most of the time different solutions exist and you should choose one that suits your way of working/thinking the best. Cheers...

Re: door gaps
Gene's solution is also an alternative and that is the way I used to do it. But the function already exist in the software to have unequal sized doors. Glenn, After placing your doors, single left click ONE of the doors and then go to construction settings. THEN make sure you change the OPEN side re...

Lost? Who ever gets lost?
To quote a character from one of Terry Pratchet's books...
(This is not an exact quote but the idea is there)
"I am never lost. I always know where I am...it's the rest of the world that doesn't know where I am!"

Re: door gaps
Matt, Unequal double doors. Here's the steps that I take 1. Add your double doors.(They are now equal in width) Oh and specify your gap settings 2. For argument sake - your doors are now 13 in each. While still in door/drawer editor, select the right hand one and right click 3. Go to construction se...

Re: Ambassadors
Dan, I think it will be a great idea. This I say with some reserve. Obviously a lot more research and brain storming would have to go into this idea. We unfortunately do not live in a perfect world and the chance of someone that is 'appointed' as an ambassodor giving advice that is detrimental to th...

Nic,
Thanks for stepping in .... but I just let it slide...I know that these Americans can't read a map. Christopher Columbus thought he was in India when he 'discovered' America! (Now this is what I call stirring it up - If this doesn't start something then nothing will!!!)

Re: Suggestions for future Ecabs
Dave, Try a program like MWSnap or Snagit. You can capture part of the screen and paste this into your favourite word processor to print. This way you can hide, rotate zoom in and then capture and paste until you have all you need. Compile this into a presentable 'drawing plan' and print. Save this ...

Re: slow processing
Lee, To get your drawings into a PDF you can install any of a number of free PDF writers. They install as printers, and then you select them as your printer from your drop-down list of printers. This should then open a 'save as' dialogoue where you may specify a filename. Just remember where you sav...

Re: slow processing
Lee,
I see you mention that the response keep getting worse when you are in the LDE. The LDE is a BIG hogger of resources. Try and keep the drawings to a minimum. One thing that you could do is to print the LDE drawings to a PDF writer and save these. Then delete the drawings in e-cabs.
