Re: Profile Edge
Leigh, Are you using the fillet command to create the radius corners (not the one in contour mode area)? I do it this way and then run a tool around it (that does not breech the corner rad.) and all works great. Being on the perimeter of the part like this will not even require you to add constraint...

Re: Adjustable Shelf Construction Settings Bug
Joe,
We are aware of this message. It is benign and it will be resolved in a patch due out soon. The “wild numbers” you speak of are nothing new and are that way by design in several fields. This is to maintain accuracy for fit and depth clearances and shelf pin hole diameters and spacing.

Re: Consraints Changing Since V5.2 - B1
Greg, You will unfortunately have to edit each one to resolve this. In previous versions eCabinet Systems made assumptions on equations that caused problems for entries requiring dimensions. The resolution unfortunately caused the symptoms you are seeing. 5.2 bld 2 (due out soon) will have the addit...

Re: Drawer box problem in version 5.2 and 5.1
Dan,
I cannot check your job in 5.1 (because it was saved in 5.2), but this issue did exist in 5.1 and 5.2 bld 1. I examined your scenario here and it is the same issue that we have addressed for bld 2.

Re: MDF Door Tool Options
Leigh, Yes it will. But please keep in mind, that it was designed to work with eCabinet Systems MDF doors which currently allow 2 profiles (interior & exterior). So, by you creating it via a back panel, it will use the Interior Custom tool for region #1 (the first profile cut path you created on...

Re: Rotate Part in Part editor
Greg, The move and rotate functions in the Display Part Editor will only work for added peices and do not function on the 1st part loaded into the scene (which is considered the anchor part). So, if you load another stl/hsf in, you will be able to select it and do these operations to it. However, yo...

Re: Moving in custom layout
Jason, You can also rotate the Overhead/Main view and click on items to select it. Then you can press the Home key to get back to straight overhead view. You can move items while in a rotated position as well but keep in mind the movement may seem odd based on the rotation you are at (movement is al...

Re: sample_stls
Jean, The format did not change for display objects. What extension does the file have? It should be ".hsf". If it is ".stl", then it must be taken into the Display Part Editor first, textured etc. then saved. Did you save this file into a directory under the Import folder in the...

Re: MDF DOORS

Re: eCab 5.2 batch issues
Steve,
Do you typically have the job loaded that you run the CNC on? If so, would you run a test for me?
-> Start eCabs fresh.
-> Do NOT load the job!
-> Select the CNC Icon, choose this job and write it as you normally would.
