Hmmm. That's an interesting bug.
On your CN window you will see export on the bottom left corner of the window - hit it and follow the directions. Once complete attach it in a new post.

Re: Poll: Save part editor work with doors and drawer fronts?
Losing constraints is a problem, I agree. I meant to ask if constraint manager can be integrated with Part editor for convenience. When you cut a part you directly constraint everything to what you would like. Having different front material and edge banding problem seems exaggerated. You obviously ...

Re: WE NEED D PASS OFF!
Thom,
did you change the maximum part width or length as well. I am not sure if this "1000000000 or so" refers to square inches or width and length.

Re: video of cutting dovetail drawers
Hey Ray,
I don't know if there are any dovetails in the archive but here's an interesting link you might like. Check it out, you might find dovetails being cut. There're some many other interesting videos as well

Re: Nesting Problem CN 5.56
I isolated the problem to Cab #1 ( U02 U 47 1-4x 53x 23 3-4). If you load it with ShopBot or probably CN5.48 it will miss nesting a partition for the same cabinet. On CN5.56 it will show that partition with completely messed up sizes for Width and Height. Anyways it seems the bug was caused by eCabi...

Re: Nesting Problem CN 5.56
Here's the twd file. I actually never tested it with any other job at the machine. I will try and do that today and let you know.

Nesting Problem CN 5.56
I ran into another weird bug. I can't explain what made it. I just loaded the job and tried to nest. I played with CN 5.54 too but the same thing happened. It does nest on the good old CN5.48 though with no problem. I am attaching a print screen so you can take a look at the exact error text. Let me...

Material Thickness
General question, guys. When you change the material thickness when you are wring a twd file from lets say .7188" to .75" would dados be increased and moved when machined.
Thank you
Funny I have never used that one before.

Re: Manual panel input error.
Hi Terry, I got the same one this morning. Here's what pops up on the screen. Initially I tried it with existing material but later I created one just to test with but the error still exists. The error occurs when you accept the loaded parts and go to main control nesting window. Is there a way to g...

Re: Please Thermwood let us go back to V5...!!!!!
Or you can go to a $50K software that is pretty flexible but super complicated and takes about 1 year to integrate. The bugs will still be present and their customer support is at a super sh**ty level. You will be charged for any type of support w/ an annual fee that aways starts on the same date ev...

Re: Please Thermwood let us go back to V5...!!!!!
I don't really see big difference for myself between V5 an V6. Only the drawer box part editor. It has been frustrating sometimes to work on the new version but we can't start pointing fingers and screaming at thermwood guys. Thy have fixed a lot of problems already and to me it seems they are worki...

Re: Speed of V6 varies with use?
The speed of the item window has increased quite a lot in V6B2 so they must have changed something. For a company that uses eCabinets to mainly cut and not design, for me it's more important that everything I create is cut properly on the machine. With my drawer box problem resolved for now I think ...
