How many sheets do you get from a bit?

How many sheets do you get from a bit before it chips and you have to replace it? How long does it take to change your bit? How much does your material cost if you waste a sheet because it has chipped edges? The above question will make more sense after I get a few replys and I will show you what wo...

I think the the stripped down version should be set up to show the layout in presentation form but NOT a cut list or anything that would allow someone with out the full version of Ecab to extract the info needed to manufacture. One other way would be to have the local shops be the distributor of the...

Does anyone have a Model C42 with 2-5x5's and/or 2 spindles?

We just bought one and wanted to ask a few questions about programing, Vaccum, Dust collection, switching from table \"Y\" to \"V\" and back to \"Y\", and a few others. I would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks,

Jeff, I do not work for BobCAD or get a commission from them. I like to negotiate and help other woodworkers. This is not an end of the year sale. I have put a few deals together and I guess because it is less work for them to sell the buyer the savings are passed on. I will lose no sleep over it if...

We cut 5/8\" 2 sided Duramine Melamine all day, all week sometimes and use a 1/2 up down shear Diamond bit from Gladu. And we average about 700 to 850 IPM at 18500 to 19250 RPM. and the last 2 tools had over 200 sheets each before we had to change them. We ramp at 140 IPM and found this to be t...

Henry, I would be interested in your project also. I also have a laser that may be a better way to go. Would 3mm russian birch work for your material? or does it need to be 1/4\"? I have both but the 3mm is excellent to work with, is very strong and less expensive. My office is 281-586-8830 ext...
