Nest Button

Any chance of getting the \"nest\" button changed to two buttons? Nest X, and Nest Y.

Thanks,
Dave

Try this, Place a sheet of 1/2\" material on the table. Hold it down with a couple screws into your spoilboard well away from the part area. In settings, add a 6\" collar around the sheet. This will get your part in away from the edge. Load the part program and write cnc using the smallest ...

Steven, We have the four tool bar style changer. Set up both tools in the tool manager in the same tool holder position. For example, say T1 is .248 at position B4, make T5 .250 also at position B4. That way when either diameter is called, it will grab the same tool. That is, if the .002\" dia ...

Dave, Dave has a good list of things to try. We successfully cut a nest of 10 parts 0.75\" wide by 95\" long in 1/2\" AC ply on a regular basis. Like Dave says, onion skin all and \"perform all thru cuts last\". I don't need to use \"additional part clearance\" on ...

Zack,

Don't forget to drop down to the last line and hit the start button, or is it the block step + button? Anyway, if you don't do this, your changes won't be saved. Just a thought.

These are all great ideas. As long as I'm dreaming, how about replacing the \"nest\" button with \"nest X\" and \"nest Y\" buttons. How about using the mouse to move parts around on the screen to place them where I want them to be. How about being able to \"mirror\...

Tool Diameter

Hi, The office sends out .dxf files with d0p375 for my outline/dado/centerline tool. The tool is not always .375, latest one is .372. This isn't a problem most of the time, but today I was making some jigs that had to be dead on. Any way to fudge the tool dia at the machine? Something in settings wo...

Flip Operations Fence

Howdy, We have a CS40. Those locators for the flip operation fence are really starting to annoy me. Can I use the pop up pins to locate the fence if I change the G902 coordinates in the M999 macro? (I think those are the right numbers). Is there any way to use flip ops without removing the wasteboar...

Clean-up pass

Another question,

How about a \"settings\" button that would allow for a clean-up pass. A rough cut .03-.05 from the line, then final pass on the money. Would be very helpful with the solid wood we do.

Thanks,
Dave

Spindle off?

Hi, I made up a spring loaded dry erase pen that fits in a 1/2\" collet to check some part shapes I digitized before commiting some expensive sheet goods. My question is: what's the easiest way to run the program with the spindle off? It works ok putting parentheses around S# M3 and M5. I was w...

It works!! We were having a problem with the excel spreadsheet/ DXF part list feature. We kept gettig a message \"couldn't find loadable ISAM\" or something close to that. Today, Ryan sent us a DAO file to load onto the controller. Don't know what it does but it fixed the problem. We can n...

Roll-Around

Hi, We've been cutting curved pieces in solid wood, 1\" wide, 8\" long, 1.5\" thick. The curve has about an 8\" radius. When cutting, the tool does a G2 around the outside radius, a G1 across the 1\" end, G3 across the inside radius, and G1 across the other short end. The pr...

Thanks to you and your team for the 4.90 fix of the \"last line feed speed\" problem. Would you please revisit it again and look at the next to last line? I'm seeing 800 ipm showing up there instead of the last line.

Thanks,
Dave
