i think i have eliminated the thermwood machine as a source of contamination, the auto lube system used air tool oil, we tested a pice of ply with oil on it and could not produce the same result. we are guessing that we bot a bunk of bad material.

auto lube system/ finish contamination?????

has anyone ever had any contamination from the lubrication mist from the auto lube system on their router getting on plywood and causing finishing problems. we have a whole pallet of cherry that is having major cratering in the finish, we have never had so much as one inch of cratering in our finish...

with all thermwood products be paitent and take your time. when i installed my there was a problem and thermwood had to send me another version, so i wouldent have a bunch of parts waiting for the upgrade. hey brian did you ever get your sign cut out?

profile modeler outline cuts

ok i finally got some time to mess with the profile modeler, created a part and generated code, but no outline cut, am i missing somthing here?, do i have to run the part through rolling nest to get the blank and then reposition the part and use the profile modeler to generate the rest of the code?

if you see anything like this that does not look correct do not run the job you will probibly end up with bad parts, i would contact thermwood and find out if the problem is ecabinets or rolling nest, save your material.

hey brian if i were in your shoes i would look at buying artcam insignia. you can purchase the entry version for somthing like 800-1500 and then you can always upgrade to the pro version, that way you wont be burdened with too many reatures that you wont be using at first. the only drawback to artca...
