Re: The Final Straw
...my stupid helper cut the fronts and backs of the drawer boxes too short. He told me he didn't need to look at the drawing, the dimensions were memorized... Sounds like you have the same helper I do, Kerry--ME!!! Sorta reminds me of one Christmas when my son was little. We got him some toy that n...

Re: Profit margin
Mr Dan??? Geez, you're making me feel even older than I am. :joker: A business plan is a formal document that has a few uses. The two top uses are (a) to give you a roadmap for operating and growing your business and (b) to use when borrowing money from a bank, venture capitalist or such. It contain...

Re: Profit margin
Neville's suggestion on how to raise your rates is a good idea. Customers notice small incremental increases much less than they would a single large increase. Re: Profit margin
The formula I gave above will tell you what your profit margin needs to be--you just need to fill in the other two numbers. Have you thought about contracting out installation? That would free up your time and in the long run would probably cost no more than the lost production when you do the insta...

Re: Profit margin
What you need to do is first, get all of your fixed costs for for the last 12 months (expenses that are not job related like rent, electricity, insurance, etc.) together. Next, get the variable costs (materials, direct labor, etc., not selling price) of all the jobs you did in the last 12 months. No...

Re: Are you going to IWF?
You might be onto something there, Jeremy. If we could just get Dennis on a unicycle and if he can juggle... Could use the rotary playback to make bowling pins at the show for him to juggle.

It's a good thing you are that big or she would of "taken care of" you years ago!
Getting back to the original topic, for those of you who are going, what day(s) will will you be there? I'm not sure yet which day I will go but it will be only one day probably.

Re: print any one sheet
Mark, In the pint dialog you can choose to print the selected sheet. When I tried it, the attached is what I got. No parts are shown for the sheet. Perhaps the Thermwood guys can check on this. Dave, I have tested this and can confirm that any selected sheet besides sheet one prints blank. I will l...
