Re: Group Parts - Drawers - Assembly

Unfortunately, ecabinets does not support grain matching over multiple cabinets.
You may have to draw those drawer fronts in a .dxf file and nest it manually.

Re: Is there a way to estimate cut time for a job?

John,
I'm sure it's not as quick as you'd like, but you could always program one sheet and run it in the air to get an exact time. If there were enough of them, that's what I'd do to be sure.

Re: Looking for a Machine Owner in my region

Hi Chris,
Please feel free to give us a call, we are exclusively a CNC machining operation. I'd welcome the opportunity to quote your repetitive work, and we can easily ship it to VA.
Thanks,

Re: Help with machine settings back up

Thermwood has a utility for gathering machine information, I don't remember what it's called. I have an older version - so I would recommend emailing the support crew and requesting their updated version or whatever might be appropriate for your particular machine.
Hope that helps!

Re: Help with machine settings back up

Hi Scott, At home I use cloning software that makes a bootable clone of the whole drive on a SD card (and also on a second internal hard drive). If the main drive fails, I could boot from the SD card or the internal drive, with no lost time. My wife's HD recently failed and being able to boot from t...

May,
You will not be able to shorten the dado operation. We have no control over this.
Sorry I'm sure that's not too helpful -

Re: Hinge Hole

The interpolate setting should be no more than tool diameter x3 if you want to clean the whole bottom of the hole. If CN does not find a tool to "interpolate" the drill operation, then it will automatically turn that operation into a pocket, and it will use the tools which are checked for ...

Re: The old favourite Hoop Errors

Neville, Generally the first message you saw results from lost cabinet bodies. Why that happens is anyone's guess, but if you take each cabinet into the cabinet editor, select the cabinet, and right click, choose 'remove all part editor cuts' 'from entire cabinet' then let it rebuild - you should be...

Re: Bar code labels

Dave, I missed your note about off-fall, sorry. I thought you were talking about re-cutting a part that had been damaged.
Have you turned off the off-fall cuts? If so, the labels will not be printed for off-fall pieces.

Re: Bar code labels

Dave, you can modify the label report file with Crystal Reports if you wish, or perhaps hire someone who has CR to do it for you.
