Hi Ya Paul This is a very staggered conversation What with me being in the middle (geographically) of you and Thermwood! how many hours are there between us? You are not seeing your dados becase once again you have drawn a polyline. Unfortunately Rolling Nest wants each geometry made up of simple se...

Hiya Paul Here are a few pointers: The Polyline you have forming the center rectangle will have to be broken up into seperate line segments. You have the Centerline layer parameters the wrong way around should be Centerline d12p0 z5p0. You are going to have to specify exactly the cutter size you req...

Hi Ryan I have upgraded to 4.75 it makes no difference. It is happening with all my jobs now. I will try to explain.... Imagine you have a sheet of board on the tabe and you are cutting doors from it, What RN normally does is cut all the hinge holes on the topside of the board, obviously because doo...

Hinge holes in Rolling Nest

Picked up a beaut in Rolling Nest 4.74. If you have a sheet that is being nested for doors it is showing 1/2 the hinge holes on the upper face and the other 1/2 as flip operations. this is not so much of a problem with MDF but a real problem with veneered boards. Of course we are just ignoring the f...

I too would like the skinny on this. i have tried to out put CV DXF data to Easy link to no avail. I think it is only capable of handling one item at a time as you would if you produced a shape in Auto Cad or whatever. You can also produce singe bounded objects in CV and these would be processed by ...

Hi Bill

I find that most times I have this problem it is for one of two reasons, 1) I dont have the material used set up in the cutter group or 2) The tool diameter is exactly the same size of the dado I am trying to cut.

Maybe i am missing something here but if I check the select sheet option the code jumps straight to the flip ops without any input from ourselves. Is this right? How exactly is all this supposed to work?

Further to dimension info it would also be useful to have the size of the material that the parts are being cut out of displayed. This is especially pertinent to situautions where one is using off cuts that are similar in size and it is difficult to work out which piece is being asked for. Rolling n...

Thanks Guys
It would be really useful to get this kind of info along with easily generated assembly sheets. It helps my staff keep track of all the parts when trying to assemble etc.

So does this not even warrant an answer, even if it is in the negative?
