Re: So what's the secret to loading your avatar?

I hope we just don't let this one fall by the way side. . . . I'd still like to be able to upload my avatar :D I think there is still a problem internally, but there is a difference in the way the pages displays in Firefox 2 as opposed to IE7. This is how it looks in Firefox http://www.josephfusco.c...

Re: Appliance library?

Gene for openers you can try browsing the 3D Forum or you can go through the process of downloading the 3d files from the manufacture of choice (if they have them) then converting them to be used in eCabinets. The process will require a cad system (program) of some type to process the DWG or DXF 3D ...

Justin,

The stretcher suggestion was an excellent recommendation for this type of shelf construction.

Re: Trouble with combining Two Cabs

Greg, Once you save an assembly the software still maintains the individual cabinet "specs" even though it's now part of an "assembly". You can work on the "assembly" as a whole in the detail room, but you can still only edit the individual cabinets in the editor one at...

Re: Sink Install

Tim, Believe it or not this task is one of the most arduous to perform in eCabinets. You would think that you could just place the sink where you'd like it and "then" cut the hole for it. Nope, it's going to take some practice in laying out that rectangle to get it in the right spot and th...

Re: Texture Matching of counter top

Patrick, The manual refers to the way you used to have to change countertops. They used to be made with display cubes and you'd use the standard procedure to change its texture. With the new/er countertop editor you need to change counters made there within that editor. Funny thing is if you have a ...

Re: Aesthetics in Cabinet Making

I've been making cabinets for a long time just as most of you. I started making frame less in the early 90's and like Joe, I try and make that type whenever possible. Cabinets should be pleasing to the eye all the time --- No ? Trouble is everyone's eye is a bit different. . .

So what's the secret to loading your avatar?

I've been trying to "reapply" my avatar after the upgrade and it's still a no go. . . I'm sure you can do it because I can plainly see others have their avatars in place. If someone knows the secret handshake would they please pass it along :D

Stefan,

You may need to \"reapply\" the doors or at least take them to the PE after replacing them as they sometimes tend to \"hang\" in front of the cabinets. I'm sure there is a thread about this somewhere. . .
