I'm trying to create some plain boxes that will be finished all the way around, and would like to miter the corners together. How do i go about it because the only options it gives me on cabinets is butt, dado, etc, but no miter option. If it requires going to the part editor, I need real easy instru...

5 piece doors
When I input the info for build doors in house, I input 1/8 for machining allowance. On my cutlist, Some of the stiles only have the 1/8" added to them, which is what I want. Other stiles and all the rails have 1/4" added to them. So far all the problems I've encountered have been my own f...

Re: slow processing
OK, I downloaded a pdf writer and transfered all my line drawings to that. Things speeded up alot, now. Thanks for the suggestions. One question, though. Can I send those drawings back to the line drawing editor from adobe, or not?

Re: slow processing
Okay, it's getting worse. I find that I have to do several restarts a day. This only happens when I have Ecab open, and it delays everything. If I don't open Ecab, any other program works fine. Is there something I'm doing wrong?I've tried smacking the tower, but no matter how old school you are, it...

slow processing
I've noticed that the more I am doing, the slower response time I'm getting. Not just in a file with lots of details, but just in e-cabs in general. The worst is dimensioning in the LDE. It takes several seconds now to get responses, when it used to happen immediately. Any tips or advice would be wel...

Re: line drawing editor
That part works fine. Its once I get it there, I want to rotate the elevation so it fits on the paper the oppisite way that it is. I didn't know if that's doable or not. I just thought it would be nice since the room was wall was longer, to have the elevation running the long way on the paper.

Re: line drawing editor
That allowed me to rotate the room, but I can only get a top view of the cabinets. I'm trying for the front elevation.

I have a long wall and want to dimension it in the LDE. The problem is, I would like to rotate the drawing on the paper so it would be more visible. When I try to rotate it, it rotates on axis X and Z, but not Y. Any ideas?

Re: Dimension a Room
Being a throwback to a few generations, what does that mean in laymans terms? And I still don't know how to make wall cutouts.

Re: Wall editing
Thanks for the help. That's what I did wrong, I didn't make sure the connecting walls were highlighted. Seems like every problem I encounter usually falls into operator error.

Re: Dimension a Room
The only cut outs I find are in the items to place. I tried those, but was unable to dimension to them. I don't know if that was the right cut out or not.
