Re: How can this be made?

I have a very similar piece I use in cabinets. I've attached the file. It's a drawer I made. Most of the parts are made on the CNC when cutting drawer box parts. The adjustable shelves are made the old fashion way, tablesaw.

I know adding material has been discussed

I know that adding material to the add door/drawer face dialog has been discussed here, but for the life of me, I can't figure out the correct search terms to find those discussions. Could someone please direct me to the conversations?

Thanks!!!

Re: Cut List File

The job I ran a couple of weeks ago had all the info you're asking for. Is word wrap formatting turned on for any columns in the spreadsheet, hiding info?

Re: An Active Forum is a Strong Forum

Hi Donald I get the same error message when nesting your unit. When I remove part editor cuts from the entire cabinet it nests. Clint sent me an email saying the top drawer behind the doors is messed up. One of those gremlins. I haven't touched that drawer since I designed the cabinet 2 months ago....

Re: An Active Forum is a Strong Forum

Here's the cabinet that started throwing the unknown error. It is a cabinet with drawers and pull out trays behind doors, just like you mentioned. It is a blind corner cabinet.

Re: An Active Forum is a Strong Forum

Mark, Here's a good example of those gremlins slipping in when you can't recall anything you did to make it happen. I was performing a nest for a job and this popped up out of nowhere. The message doesn't mean anything and doesn't provide any kind of a path to try and diagnose the problem. When I go...

Re: An Active Forum is a Strong Forum

Mark, I've had these gremlins sneak into jobs on many occasions. I tweak a cabinet and all of a sudden materials are no linger displayed like they should be. I just get the yellow with text in it for a material I've been using for years. I also start getting constraint problems that just all of a su...

Calc countertop sq ft

Is there a way, once you've added countertops to a room of cabinets, for eCabs to calculate the square footage of the countertops? Trying to estimate $ for countertops.

Re: New version issue

Here's what happens when I restore eCabs from a minimized state. As you can see, the eCabs window is shorter then the screen is tall. If I click the Restore Down button, then the maximize button, it will fill the screen. It's been happening since the last major upgrade of eCabs. Prior to that upgrad...

Re: New version issue

It is consistent and happens 100% of the time. I run a 2-monitor system. The monitor the eCabs is running on is set to 1920x1080 resolution. I undock the window that has all the tabs for things like Cabinets, accessories, etc. This window runs on a monitor running at 1680x1050 resolution. Not sure i...

New version issue

When I minimize eCabs to the desktop and try to bring it back up again, it won't restore. Yes, my video drivers are up to date according to manufacturers website.

Not that I've found. I know this has been a feature request by many people for a few years.

Re: Changing preset values in 5-piece door construction

Thank you Scott. I was wondering why, when I changed it in preferences, it wasn't taking when adding doors to a cabinet. Now I know. :D

Changing preset values in 5-piece door construction

Is there a way to change the default values in the dialog where you can set 5-piece door parameters like rail and stile width, cope depth, etc? I can't find anything. Thanks :D
