Quadro Tweak

I'm trying to install thye tweak and it won't let me. The error msg says the program requires a newer video driver than is installed. I have just installed the latest driver from the nVidia site (162.5). In the Driver File Details, Provider, File version and Copyright all shown unkown. Maybe this is...

these might help

Here are a couple of tricks I figured out this weekend. They helped me out and thought I'd pass them on. 1/ Knobs and handles can be memory killers and buggy in the Presentaion view. I modelled a simple knob and a cup pull in another software, expoted them each as an STL but made sure the resolution...

Did you ever get this issue worked out. I'm having the same problem with a job I'm trying to get done and can't get the final details drawn.

I took the saved jpeg into MS Publisher and added the text there. I can't say for sure, but I would try a Photo editing program if you don't have Publisher.

Basement Bar

Here are a few pics of a basement bar I've been working on. It slowed my sytem down too much to be able to play with the lighting to any gret amount. I had to cover a couple of posts in the room so the bar ended up with a real weird angle (303.08 deg). What a pain. This design ended up with way too ...

The cabinet was origianly drawn in maple so grain direction was important to me. I could make the curved rails but because of the profile I had to mitre the profiled section otherwise the corners would have been wrong. I couldn't get all the nessesary cuts to do the job. If I was after the black fro...

eCab works great for me. There are areas that don't do what I want. But they are always adding and making it better. Alot of the time there is a work around to get what is needed in the drawing. And I feel the final product is great. Customers love it. And I still haven't set up to get the most out ...

To build it or design it? I would guess I had about 15 hours or so in the eCab work. but alot of that was from having to retry alot of methods to get the curved parts to work, or making custom mouldings and mitreing them. I never had to figure how long for building it, this customer is a long time r...

The final finish on this will be a black toned, clear satin laquer over maple ( you will still be able to see some grain thru the finish). And then antiqued at the edges (rubbed off). So it will still have the look of wood but in black. The antiqued black is to match a desk already in that room.

den wall unit

Here's a few pics of a wall unit I've been working on. Its almost all drawn with eCab. I almost had the curved doors drawn but it wouldn't let me do what I needed to, so I drew them in another program and imported them in. The other parts are all in eCab though (except the corbels and display items)...

Thanks, I'll look into it. Just what does a miss-behaving font do?
